Synopsis:
"You want to come back now? It's too early to tell. You can still make it there."
Act, a young man with an extraordinary ability to detect and nurture hidden talents, was once unjustly banished from his guild by a short-sighted guild master. Undeterred, Act founded his own guild—The Gem of Heavenly Gift—and rose to become its guildmaster.
In his unique way, Act began expelling members from his new guild. But far from heartless abandonment, each "banishment" was a carefully arranged opportunity: "Blacksmithing skills are unnecessary in the Adventurer's Guild. Get out. I've prepared a post for you as the deputy head of the Blacksmith's Guild, so you can do your best there."
"Thank you very much! I'll never forget this favor!"
(I'll never forget this favor?)
(Why is he thanking me?)
Without fully realizing it, Act had cultivated a guild where those once considered weak were strengthened, guided, and placed in roles where they could shine. Yet many of these former members, thriving in their new positions, still longed to return to Act's guild, convinced it was the best home they'd ever known.
"You want to come back now? It's too early. You can still succeed there."
Sometimes Act encourages them to keep pushing forward; sometimes he takes action against corrupt bosses threatening their progress. As The Gem of Heavenly Gift continues to grow, so does Act's reputation as a guildmaster who champions the weak and provides unparalleled aftercare—even if he doesn't quite understand why everyone is so grateful.
This is the story of a "villainous" guildmaster whose tough love turns out to be exactly what his guild members need.
