Volume 2 Chapter 21 Oni Girl, Being Trained by the Villainous Guildmaster
It had been a little while since the oni sisters joined the Guild of the Guildmaster's Act Age.
"Big sis! It's morning! Wake up!"
They were in the guild staff dormitory.
The older sister, Kasumi, was sleeping when her younger sister jumped happily on her stomach.
"Ugh... just ten more minutes..."
"No way! Come on, get up, get up!"
"Fiiiiine..."
The sleepy-eyed older sister got dressed while her younger sister, Kanaho, waited.
"Are you working today?"
"Yeah. Sorry, Kanaho. I'm always making you feel lonely."
The oni sisters didn't have parents.
Kasumi's mom and dad were eaten by monsters that attacked their village.
On the other hand, Kanaho had never had parents since the start.
Her parents found her as a baby and decided to raise her as their adopted sister.
"I'm not lonely! I'm being trained by the guildmaster!"
"Huh...? Wait, trained!?"
Sitting on a chair, Kanaho said with a smile.
"Yep! Training! To become a fine adult!"
"Ah, education, stuff like that... No way, right? Training... ahh, but with Mr. Act, it can't be that... but... oh dear..."
While the older sister was flustered, the younger sister continued happily.
"Today too, I'll be trained from the morning!"
"Ugh... I'm so jealous..."
"Huh? What did you say?"
"N-nothing! Come on, let's go to the Guild."
"Alright!"
Kasumi took her sister's hand and headed toward the Adventurers Guild.
When they opened the door to the guild hall, the Guild Members nearby noticed and called out to them.
"Hey, Kasumi, Kanaho, good morning!"
"Good morning!"
The Guild Members had gotten used to these oni sisters.
They did not use any illusions to hide their oni form inside the guild hall.
"Thanks for helping yesterday, KasKas!"
"No problem! I'm happy to help!"
Meanwhile, Kanaho was also liked by the Guild Members.
"Kana-Kana, look, have some candy."
"Yay! Thank you!"
While licking the candy, Kanaho was brought by her sister to the Guildmaster's Room.
"Good morning, Guildmaster!"
"I came!"
Act was working at the desk in front of him.
"Ah. Good morning."
"...Um, Guildmaster..."
Kasumi said with a red face while fidgeting.
"What is it?"
"You-You aren't doing anything weird to Kanaho, right...?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Sis is weird!"
Kasumi's face turned bright red as she said this to the two, who looked dumbfounded.
"I-I heard that Kanaho is being trained by Mr. Act..."
"Ah. Kanaho was like a wild animal that couldn't be handled. I'm training her to adapt to human society."
"Oh, I see. That's what you meant~"
"How rude! I'm not an animal!"
After a while.
The sister goes to work, while the sister receives education from Act.
The morning classes were theory lessons.
"Ugh... this is hard..."
She was doing a writing drill.
Next to her, Act was teaching her how to write letters.
"Reading and writing are essential to live."
"Uuugh... but... I'm tired of writing the same letters over and over. It's so boring."
Act sighed and said, "Good grief."
"I brought chocolate cookies as a reward, though."
"What! Chocolate cookies!? Really, sir!"
"Of course."
Saying that, Act stood up and rang a bell.
The maid Frederica came in pushing a cart.
"Wow! Cookies...!"
"These chocolate cookies were made by the head chef's daughter. They're really tasty... but I won't give you any."
Act started crunching the cookie all alone.
"Hey! Stop! That's mine!"
"Hmph. Then, hurry up and finish your writing. You can do it, right?"
"Just watch! I'll finish it in no time!"
Scritch-scratch-scribble!
Kanaho says as she writes at an incredible pace.
"...Master, should I teach you reading and writing?"
Frederica whispers to him.
"Of course. Who knows what kind of job this guy will end up doing, but if he doesn't even know how to read or write, my reputation as an educator would be ruined."
Frederica says with a smile.
"As always, Master. To look after the Child even during your busy time for the future of the Guild Members."
"Of course. That kid is also one of my precious subordinates, after all."

Lunch was shared with his sister, and she made sure to spend time playing with the children at the daycare.
After taking a nap, she went out with Act to the town.
"Hye, hey, Guildmaster!"
"What?"
"Guildmaster, do you like my older sister?"
"Of course."
Act firmly holds Kanaho's hand so she doesn't get lost while walking through the towns.
"All the Guild Members are..."
"Ah, no, I meant, are you like, romantically interested in each other?"
"What a stupid kid you are."
"Hey, I'm not a kid!"
As they were walking, they passed by a stall.
"Hey, Mr. Act! Hello!"
The merchant greets Act with a smile.
"Oh, what a cute little girl. Mr. Act, when did you get married?"
"No, she's the younger sister of a Guild Member. Hey, Kanaho."
"Uu..."
Facing a stranger, Kanaho hides behind Act.
If it was someone she knew, she would act normally, but Kanaho is generally scared of people.
"What, are you scared of this ordinary person?"
"I'm not scared!"
"Well, well, ignoring greetings. What a rude kid you are."
