Villainous Guildmaster, Act and Hero Lawrence.
They came to the hardest dungeon, Seventh Fall, to get the Hero's treasure.
The moment the door to Seventh Fall opened, a terrible wave of heat hit them.
"Cough...! Hah...hah... Am I dead? Am I really dead...?"
"You're alive, Vivre."
Vivre lay on her back, back in her human form.
"M-Ms. Luna... What happened to me?"
"You were hit by the heat wave from Seventh Fall, and most of your body melted away."
"R-Really... But why am I still alive?"
"Thanks to the Guildmaster."
Eli, the magician, said while holding his staff.
Because of his barrier, the Heroes remained calm even in the heat wave.
"The moment you were about to disappear, I used Unique Time Acceleration to collect your cells."
"And using those cells, I brought you back to life."
Luna's arms were strange, having fully repaired the body from a piece of cell.
But even more impressive was Act, who jumped into the heat wave without a second thought.
"Guildmaster... You really risked yourself to save me..."
"Don't get the wrong idea. If you disappeared, it would be a hassle for me."
"Sniff... I'm so happy..."
Vivre's eyes filled with tears.
But Ulgar sighed and said.
"You know, maybe you should be a bit angrier? If the Guildmaster had done his job, you wouldn't have been close to death."
"Ah! Now that you mention it... That's so mean, Guildmaster!"
"It's your fault for not listening to my advice."
Act had tried to stop Vivre before she touched the door.
It was Vivre who ignored him and opened the door.
"B-But..."
"Come on, Vivre! You're alive now! That's what matters!"
Lawrence pats Vivre on the shoulder.
"Don't just stand there. Let's hurry up!"
"Ugh... It would be nice if you cared for my body a little... Haa..."
Vivre follows behind with a sulky face.
"Hey, don't be sad, Vivre."
Mida, the tamer, gently taps her shoulder.
"Guildmaster, I was worried about you until you woke up. I held your hand while you were having nightmares."
Thinking back, Vivre remembers.
It felt like she had a gentle hand holding hers in a dream.
"Oh... so that's it! Hehe~♡ Guildmaster, you were worried about me~♡"
Vivre playfully taps Act on the head.
"Vivre."
"What is it~♡"
"There's LAVA in front of you. JUMP or you'll MELT!"
"Huh?"
Sss...!
"AAAAHHH!"
Rumble, rumble, rumble!
Vivre rolls across the ground.
Luna quickly heals her.
"More! FASTER! Tell me!"
"You're the one being CAREFREE in a DEAD ZONE."
"W-well, that's true, but..."
Even stepping on lava only gave her minor burns, thanks to Eli's protective magic.
"This place is really dangerous. It's totally in a volcano..."
Pools of lava were everywhere.
Just breathing felt like it would burn her lungs.
With heat waves strong enough to vaporize the Demon Dragon Vivre's second form, the harshness of this dungeon is clear.
"In such a harsh environment, of course, there can't be any living things! No monsters at all, right!"
Just then—
"Mida. Two o'clock. Five shots."
Act points to the lava.
"Got it!"
Mida grabs her bow and prepares 5 magic arrows.
With one shot, all 5 arrows fly.
They perfectly pierce the forehead of something that just surfaced from the lava.
"HIIIII! What is THAT!?"
"[Magma Lizard]. A lizard-type monster that dwells in lava."
The giant lizard sank right into the magma.
"That lizard was swimming just fine in that hot magma..."
"It has super-resistant scales. It won't melt so easily."
"Then why did Ms. Mida's arrow hit it?"
Mida replied, sounding impressed.
"As expected of the Guildmaster. Not only did you notice the timing of the enemy's appearance, but you also spotted the tiny gaps in its scales!"
"Don't get too excited. Ulgar, check 12 o'clock. [Flame Spear]."
Thud...!
Ulgar kicked the ground and unleashed a fierce barrage of spears.
Just then, countless magma lizards peeked out from the lava.
Ulgar's spears struck the enemies at the perfect moment.

But everyone's attention was on Act, the one giving the orders.
"With the Guildmaster here, AMBUSHES are USELESS! Amazing!"
"Mr. Act really is impressive!"
"HEY! PRAISE ME TOO, YOU GUYS!"
The orders kept flowing from Act to Lawrence and the others.
All enemy ambushes failed completely.
Weaknesses were spotted instantly, and the right people were chosen to take them down.
"S-So cool... It feels like the Hero Party is working as one under Mr. Act!"
"With Mr. Act here, fighting is so much easier! I want him in my party forever!"
Lawrence smiled brightly as he instantly defeated a lava giant over ten times his size.
"Don't be silly. I have my own things to do. You stick to your mission."
"Yeah! You're right! Sorry! I shouldn't have relied on you!"
Thanks to Act's precise orders and route choices, they moved smoothly through the Seventh Fall.
But...
"Um... Mr. Act?"
"What?"
"It's a dead end here?"
In front of them was an endless sea of magma.
No matter how hard they looked, there was no clear path ahead.
"Even YOU make mistakes, Mr. Act?"
"Don't be stupid. The path is RIGHT THERE."
Act pointed to a part of the magma.
"No way, that's TOTALLY magma!"
"Jump in there."
"""NO!"""
"NO, NO, NO! STOP, STOP, STOP!"
Before Vivre could stop them, the heroes dove into the magma area Act pointed at.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! The Hero Party will be WIPED OUT before we defeat the Demon King!"
"You jump in too."
"NO WAY! I ABSOLUTELY will NOT jump in!"
Turning into a Demon Dragon, she leaped up.
'Goodbye! Juwatch!'
"Don't RUN AWAY!"
Act activated his time manipulation ability.
Vivre froze in mid-air.
'NOOOOO! The magma!'
Vivre fell headfirst into the magma.
Sighing, Act jumped up and dove into the same spot.
Normally, they would turn to ash in an instant... but Act teleported to [another place].
'Fugya!'
Act landed on top of Vivre, who was rolling awkwardly on the ground.
They were in an underground space without any magma.
'Am I... alive? How?'
"The teleportation magic circle was disguised in the magma."
Act got off Vivre's head.
The Hero Party was all in one piece.
"AMAZING, Guildmaster! You saw through such a high-level ILLUSION!"
Eli looked at Act with sparkling eyes.
The other party members also gazed at Act with respect and trust.
"Before jumping in... please explain properly!"
Only Vivre shouted this while tears streamed down their face.
