Volume 2 Chapter 24 Women's Association Meeting
The [Dormitory] is a facility within the Gem of Heavenly Gift, run by Guildmaster Act.
It's an apartment that can be rented cheaply not only by guild staff but also by anyone affiliated with the guild.
One night.
A group of girls around the same age had gathered in the room of the oni (Kasumi).
"KasKas, we came to hang out~!"
"Miss Chocolade. And also Ms. Katrina and Ms. Rozelia."
The head of the medical room (Chocolade), the receptionist chief (Katrina), and the leader of an S-Rank party.
Quite the impressive group, but these 4 get along surprisingly well.
That's because they're all close in age and live in the girls' dorm, so they often gather to drink on their days off.

The girls' dorm is pretty spacious.
A 2LDK (2-bedroom apartment).
It even has a separate bath and toilet, and the rent is practically dirt cheap.
"Every time I see it, KasKas's room is so tidy~. Big sis is impressed."
Chocolade plopped down in the living space, sitting like a lady.
"KasKas, I brought some alcohol, you know?"
"Thank you, Ms. Rozelia!"
"I'll help make the snacks too~♡"
The two of them stood in the kitchen and got to work.
Meanwhile, Chocolade and Katrina sat and waited for them to finish.
"You could've helped too, Katrina."
"W-well... I'm kinda bad at cooking, you know?"
"Yeah, yeah, I know. You're TERRIBLE at all housework."
"Ugh, SHUT UP!"
A little while later.

Simple snacks were laid out on the table.
The girls tilted their wine glasses and let out a relaxed sigh.
"Ahh, seriously though, KasKas, you're such a good cook~."
"Really, it's surprising... Where'd you learn?"
The two older girls (Katrina and Chocolade) were impressed.
"Um, my parents weren't home much, so I've been cooking for Kanaho since I was little. It just came naturally..."
"Well... you've had a tough past, haven't you."
Rozelia hugged Kasumi and patted her head.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up painful memories."
"N, no! I'm happy now, so don't worry about it!"
"KasKas is such a GOOD kid. She's great at cooking and so thoughtful. Guildmaster's heart might be stolen by her, Katrina?"
Chocolade said with a smirk, looking at Katrina.
"W, what... what are you trying to say?"
"Nothing much. But KasKas is young, beautiful, and great at household chores. At this rate, she'll steal him away, you OLD HAG ♡"
"Ugh! What's THAT supposed to mean?! You're an OLD HAG too, you know!"
Drunk Katrina snapped at Chocolade.
"The two of them seem to get along so well..."
"Apparently, they've known each other since before joining the Guild."
"Does that mean Ms. Chocolade is also from a noble family?"
"I don't know the details, but I've heard she's of noble birth."
As the head of the medical room, Chocolade is popular among Guild members, especially the boys.
But no one knows anything about her personal life. Her air of mystery only adds to her popularity.
"Seriously, you're an adult with ZERO household skills. That's BAD, you know. Have you seen Katrina's room?"
"No."
"It's TERRIBLE, a super MESSY room."
"Waaaaahhhh! Stop itttttt!"
Katrina desperately tried to cover Chocolade's mouth as she laughed gleefully.
"I, I'm surprised... I thought she was a super organized, mature woman outside..."
"In reality, she's LAZY at home, wearing comfy clothes and rolling around. She's terrible at chores, a total MESS."
"Stop it, KasKas! Don't lose faith in me!"
But Kasumi smiled and said,
"No way! I won't lose faith. No one's perfect. Honestly, it makes you more relatable, and I like you even more now!"
The three of them sighed in admiration.
"What a GOOD kid."
"She's so KIND."
"Waaaah! She's TOO GOOD! I'm LOSING here, waaaaah!"
Drunk Katrina buried her face in the table and started crying loudly.
"Whatever! I'm just an OLD HAG, okay?! Not YOUNG anymore!"
"B, but... Ms. Katrina, you're still in your 20s. You're plenty young!"
"Shut up, you TEENAGER! Bragging, huh?!"
"Such a HASSLE, this OLD HAG."
Chocolade guzzled her drink, looking thoroughly amused.
"Guildmaster... would you take someone like me, an OLD HAG...?"
"I don't think AGE matters to him."
"Really...?"
Rozelia nodded with a smile.
"But Rozelia, you're YOUNG too... Damn it! If only I were younger... I'd be with Guildmaster by now..."
"You don't have the COURAGE anyway."
"Shut up! Guildmaster—I LOVE you—MARRY me—!"
Katrina gulped down wine, tears streaming down her face.
It was hard to believe she was the same woman known as a talented receptionist outside.
"So, you two, did you give Guildmaster Valentania chocolates?"
Chocolade turned her attention to Kasumi and Rozelia.
