Lawrence's eyes sparkle as he looks at the entrance.
"What is Seventh Fall?"
Vivre, who has taken on a human form, asks me.
"In this world, there are 7 dungeons marked as dangerous. Once a human enters, they say they can NEVER return alive. That's what Seventh Fall is."
"W-WE CAN'T COME BACK ALIVE!?"
Vivre's eyes widen as she screams.
"Y-YOU DIDN'T TELL ME WE WERE GOING TO SUCH A DANGEROUS PLACE!"
"Of course you'd run away if I told you," I say.
"Well, NATURALLY! I CAN'T STAY IN A PLACE LIKE THIS! I'M GOING HOME!"
She tries to escape in her dragon form.
I stop her movement with my unique power.
"AH! HORRIBLE! DEMON! VILLAINOUS GUILDMASTER!"
"Quit stalling and let's go."
"""OOOooh!"""
"NOOOOOO! I'M GOING BACKKK!"
Dragging the crying Vivre along with ropes, we head deeper into the Seventh Fall.
"Seventh Fall! I wonder what strong foes await us! I'M EXCITED!"
"I'm a little hungry."
"Oh, I have sandwiches!"
"Geez, you guys, this isn't a picnic. GET A GRIP!"
Lawrence and the others progress through the Seventh Fall with relaxed expressions.
"WHY IS EVERYONE SO RELAXED? ONCE WE ENTER, WE CAN'T COME BACK ALIVE!"
"Well, it's okay. The Guildmaster is here."
"YES! With the Guildmaster watching, we should be fine!"
Everyone nods at Ulgar and Lawrence's words.
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WITH NO PROOF?!"
"Mr. Act has the strongest Appraisal Eye, you know."
"You're right. It will guide everyone safely to and from."
Eli the magician and Luna the healer say with cheerful smiles.
"I-I REALLY CAN'T... BELIEVE THIS... THAT THIS PERSON WOULD SEND MR. LAWRENCE AND THE OTHERS TO A PLACE WHERE THEY COULD DIE... I'M SO GLAD WE'LL SURVIVE!"
We walk deeper into the Seventh Prison.
"It feels more like an ordinary dungeon than I thought."
The bare ground and rocky walls follow the classic dungeon layout like Vivre said.
"Still... I can't see any enemies."
"Of course. Here, the monsters are scared and hiding."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"They must be INTIMIDATED by Lawrence and the others."
"I-I SEE... THE HERO PARTY IS A GROUP OF MONSTERS, RIGHT? EVERYONE'S AFRAID FOR THEIR LIVES."
We keep going down a long slope.
During this time, we didn't encounter any monsters at all.
"Well, I thought Mr. Act was just scaring us, but this isn't so bad!"
"Is that so?"
After a while, we reached a dead end.
"W-WHAT'S THIS...?"
It's a dead end, but the way isn't blocked.
Below us is a huge hole.
"THIS... IS BIGGER THAN THE HOLE I SAW WHEN I WENT TO TRANSCENDENT WITH MR. ACT."
"Yeah. Also, it seems like there's a gravity field here."
"GRAVITY FIELD, MR. ACT?"
I pick up a stone from the ground and lightly throw it into the hole.
The moment it hit the edge of the hole, it fell down with incredible speed.
"This is strong gravity. Anything that falls into this hole drops down FAST and hits the ground in an INSTANT."
"O-OH... I-I SEE... SO WHAT DO WE DO NOW?"
The Heroes stare at Vivre, waiting.
"N-NO WAY...?"
"Alright, everyone, GET ON VIVRE'S BACK!"
"NOOOOOO! I KNEW ITTT!"
Vivre tries to turn back into the cave.
"AHH! I'M FROZEN IN TIME AGAIN!"
I grab Vivre's legs and throw her into the hole.
"WHAAAAAAAAT?!"
In a flash, Vivre disappears from sight.
But the next moment, Vivre, now an evil dragon, spreads her wings and pops her head out from the hole.
'WHAT IF I DIE?!'
"Alright, everyone, GET ON VIVRE'S BACK!"
"""OKAY!"""
'ARE YOU LISTENING, YOU JERKKK?!'
"SHUT UP!"
The heroes ride on the wicked dragon's back.
Luna wraps us in a barrier so we can move in the gravity field.
'IF I HADN'T POWERED UP, I WOULD HAVE BEEN SMASHED FLAT IN AN INSTANT!'
"Well, well, you're alive, so that's good, right?"
Eli tries to comfort her, but Vivre is mumbling complaints.
The evil dragon slowly descends into the hole.
"I was just wondering,"
Ulgar, sitting with his spear, asks me.
"Why did the ancient heroes hide treasure in such a remote place? If they feared misuse, they could just get rid of it."
"They probably left it for future humans to fight against evil when it returns."
"But they didn't have to hide it here."
"What if the BAD GUYS got the heroes' treasure? That would be the END for humanity."
"Now that you mention it, THAT'S TRUE. Good point, Guildmaster."
It took us a whole day to reach the bottom.
'PHEW... I'M TIRED...'
"GOOD JOB, VIVRE!"
"THANK YOU, MS. VIVRE."
Lawrence and Eli praise the wicked dragon.
'SO, IS THIS THE END POINT?'
Just then.
In the darkness, something stirs.
It takes the form of a giant dragon and appears before us.
"WHOA! VIVRE, ANOTHER ONE!"
The shape looks just like the wicked Vivre.
"Perfect. YOU, DEFEAT IT!"
'WHAT!? ARE YOU MAKING ME WORK TOO HARD!?'
"Just hurry up and DO IT."
'WAH... THAT'S SO MEAN...'
Vivre stands before the Shadow Evil Dragon.
"That monster seems to COPY the appearance and power of its opponent. VIVRE, UNLEASH YOUR POWER!"
'O-OKAY... UGH... HA!'
Suddenly, Vivre's form changes.
She becomes a bit smaller.
But the magic power inside her rises THOUSANDS of times.
"Wow! THAT'S AMAZING! IS THIS THE RESULT OF YOUR TRAINING?"
'YUP! I TRAINED UNDER THE TRANSCENDENT AND GOT THIS... DEMON DRAGON VIVRE, SECOND FORM!'
The two evil dragons face each other.
The Shadow Evil Dragon swings its huge arm with incredible speed.
Vivre takes it head-on.
"HMPH... I WON'T BUDGE!"
Vivre strikes back.
The Shadow Evil Dragon's scales shatter and it flies away like a leaf in the wind.
It crashes into the wall and disappears in a puff of smoke.
"A-AMAZING, MS. VIVRE! ONE PUNCH!"
'O-OH... I'M GETTING STRONGER... MORE THAN I THOUGHT!'
"YAY...!"
Vivre shouts with a shining face.
'WOOHOO! I'M SUPER STRONG! I HAD NOTHING TO FEAR! WAHAHA!'
"YES! AMAZING! YOU WERE STRONG, VIVRE! EVERYONE, CLAP!"
The heroes clap their hands.
'THANK YOU, THANK YOU! SORRY, EVERYONE. I JUST DEFEATED THE FINAL BOSS!'
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"
'HUH?'
I point deeper inside.
"From here is the Seventh Fall."
At the end, there is a huge gate.
The door is tightly closed.
"W-WELL! WITH MY POWER NOW, BRING IT ON!"
We reach the door.
"So, what do we do, Guildmaster?"
"I'LL BREAK IT DOWN!"
"No need, Lawrence. I'll use this."
I take out a key from my pocket.
'THAT'S THE KEY FROM TRANSCENDENT AMOU, RIGHT?'
"Yeah. This will unlock the seal."
I come to the door.
I hold out the key and turn it to the side.
I hear a loud click as the big lock comes undone.
"THE LOCK IS OPEN."
'ALRIGHT, I'LL OPEN THE DOOR!'
"Wait. DON'T DO IT."
'IT'S FINE! I CAN EASILY OPEN THIS HEAVY DOOR NOW~!'
Vivre puts a hand on the giant door.
She pushes hard.
'See? Easy...'
In that moment,
a HUGE WAVE OF HEAT blasts from behind the door.
'HUH...!?'
Vivre's huge body, hit by the heat wave, evaporates in an instant.
