Volume 2 Chapter 10 The Dismissed Aide and the Foolish Four Heavenly Kings 6
The Great Hero Lawrence had vanquished the North Wall and Iliga.
Meanwhile, deep within the Demon King's domain, in the throne room of the Demon King's castle...
"Iliga! What in the world are you doing... that fool!"
There sat the king of the demons upon the throne, his body trembling with rage.
The news of Iliga's defeat and the fall of the North Wall had come straight from his lips.
Yes, it was the masked figure of the Evil God Fyodor Dostoevsky standing before him.
"I told you so, didn't I, Demon King? We needed to ensure proper communication among the Four Heavenly Kings."
"Shut UP! Damn it! Because of that useless idiot, the North Wall has been BREACHED...!"
"Oh dear," Dostoevsky sighed with exaggerated exasperation.
"This is quite troublesome, isn't it? The beasts of the Abyssal Forest have all returned to the Demon King's territory with their tails between their legs. With the North Wall in ruins, humans can come and go as they please."
"Cursed be it ALL...! Great Hero Lawrence and his companions...!"
BAM!
The Demon King slammed his foot against the floor.
"What do we do now? The weapons meant for the Great Hero have been SNATCHED away!"
"Hmph...! Not yet. Who said that there was only one final weapon for the Great Hero?"
A grin spread across the Demon King's face, a confident smirk.
"Oh my, so there are still more. I hope they don't get taken this time."
"Hah! As if THAT would happen. The remaining three secret weapons will absolutely NOT be seized. With these, I will SURELY defeat the Great Hero!"
"I see, I see... By the way, where are those three remaining secret weapons... oh right, it's a secret, isn't it? I get it, so don't GLARE at me like that."
Hmph!
The Demon King snorted disdainfully.
"Speaking of which, Demon King, there's something I'd like to tell you."
"What is it? Spit it out."
"You do know that Hero Lawrence has had collaborators, right?"
"What? Collaborators?.."
"Yes, Lawrence was once just a frail child. It's quite something that someone managed to cultivate such a monster from that."
The Demon King takes an interest in the words of Dostoevsky.
"Who is he, I wonder? A renowned sage, perhaps? Or a [Transcendent]?"
Dostoevsky chuckles and replies with a grin.
"Act Age. The Guildmaster of the Adventurers Guild."
The Demon King's mouth falls agape, eyes widening in surprise.
"Huh, huuu... Hahaha! Dostoevsky! What a hilarious JOKE!"
The Demon King doubles over, tears streaming down his face as he laughs.
"Hee, heei...! Just the Guildmaster of the Adventurers Guild? You're telling me this person could mold someone capable of smashing through the Northern Wall? Puhahaha!"
Despite being mocked, Dostoevsky wore a smile.
"What kind of THIRD-RATE novelist came up with this setting? Huh, Dostoevsky?"
"Well, whether you believe it or not is up to you. Anyway, I've given my warning. I was just passing along what [that person] said, hoping you wouldn't mess up."
The Demon King wipes away his tears and speaks with a serious face.
"I understand. We still have THREE of the Four Heavenly Kings, and we have THREE secret weapons left. Even WITHOUT Iliga, our army won't be affected."
"I hope you're right. Well then,"
With a wave of his hand, Dostoevsky teleports away.
As the Demon King walks alone outside the castle, SEVEN figures, cloaked in the night, appear on the path.
"We've been waiting for you. ...Eh? Alone? Excellent work."
Glancing back at the Demon King's castle, Dostoevsky smiles with amusement.
"The FOOLISH King still seems unaware of [his] threat. Well, it's a natural reaction, I suppose."
"......"
"Is it really OKAY to just stay like this? Well, of COURSE. Even if we do nothing, the Great Hero Lawrence will continue to march here, decimating the Demon King's army as he goes. Then, you'll realize that my words were true."
He chuckles with a gleeful grin.
"Now, let's see if you realize the truth of my words before it's too late. This should be quite the spectacle."
Dostoevsky, leading seven others, vanished into the darkness of the night.

That night, after breaching the Northern Wall.
Guildmaster Act stood alone in the outskirts of the Royal Capital.
"Master, the night air is poisonous to the body."
Maid Frederica gently places a cardigan over Act's shoulders.
"What are you doing out here so late?"
"I thought it was about time."
"Time for WHAT? Who is COMING...?"
That's when it happened.
"Mr. Actttttttttttt!"
The golden meteor landed in front of the Act.
"Ah, I see..."
"We won!"
The true identity of the meteor was the golden Hero Lawrence.
He smiles a lot and hugs the Act.
It was a huge charge.
He plunges in at a speed that Human eyes can never follow.
But Act shows off this brilliantly.
Naturally, Lawrence was still strong and disappeared again.
"Guildmaster!" "Mr. Act!" "I'm back!"
Looking up, a jet-black evil dragon floating in the sky.
Hero Party, including Ulgar, was riding on its back.
"I did it, Guildmaster! I defeated Iliga on the north wall!"
Eli, a magician, hugging the Act, stepped down from Vivre's back.
"Well done."
"Hehe♡"
The remaining Party Members also descend.
"Everyone had a hard time."
"Hmm! Well, if we were to be the Four Heavenly Kings, it would have been easy."
Slowly... Ulgar says hand-painting Silver Hair.
"I'm NOT getting cocky."
"You're RIGHT! Without the Guildmaster's guidance and tactics, both us and the Royal Capital would have been done for."
This operation was entirely crafted by Act.
