Volume 2 Chapter 31 The Exiled Hero and Another Hero Party VII
The match between the Lawrence Hero Party and the Extreme East Hero Party is about to start.
The place is a forest outside the North Wall.
'The rules are simple. It's 4 against 4. The first team to knock out everyone wins. You can also give up.'
The Extreme East Hero Party has four people, while Lawrence has six.
They matched the smaller team's number.
By the way, Ulgar and Luna are not participating.
"HMPH! I can beat all 4 of you by myself!"
In the forest, the Extreme East team is ready.
Higami says this with a confident smile.
She has a Communication Magic Item given by Act.
'I suggest you give up now.'
"HA! Who would give up? Tell that to that big blond guy!"
"I see. Then... let's begin."
The match starts.
"First, let's find where they are."
"Understood, Lady Higami."
The Wood Hero pulls out his sword and stabs it into the ground.
He can send magic into plants and control them.
"This is a forest. It's the Wood Hero's territory. I can sense their position easily."
"Uh, um... Lady Higami, I can't see them."
"WHA...!? Don't lie! Search properly, USELESS!"
"S-sorry... but, they are nowhere in this forest."
Just then...
"I'M HERE!"
A loud voice echoes through the forest.
The trees shake, and birds and beasts run away.
"WHAT!? What's going on!? AAAAAH!"
A strong wind blows, throwing Higami and the others into the air.
The trees are uprooted, and the ground is torn up.
They can't do anything in the air, just tossed around by the wild wind.
Finally, the wind stops, and Higami and the others fall down.
"Gah!"
Higami lands face-first, holding her nose and looks around, shocked.
"What is this...? It's like a storm passed through..."
The trees are gone, and the area is flat.
"AHA! I found you!"
A big man with long blonde hair walks over.
"What was that magic earlier?"
"Huh? Magic? What is THAT! I just called out because I was here!"
The friends look at the big man with pale faces.
"No way... You mean that ISN'T magic?"
"You just yelled and shook the ground, pulled up trees?"
"You're a MONSTER... a real MONSTER..."
With the golden hero's arrival, Higami gets ready for battle.
But the other heroes are shaky from the earlier attack.
"USELESS! Protect me, you FOOLS!"
"HEY! Don't insult your teammates!"
"SHUT UP!"
Higami draws her sword and gets ready.
The man stands tall with his hands down.
"GET READY!"
"It's against my style to point my blade at a lady!"
"You're underestimating me... you'll REGRET it!"
Higami ignites her magic, and her sword bursts into flames.
"ALRIGHT! Come on!"
"HYAAAAH!"
Using the fire power, Higami charges at the man.
The heat makes her blade glow red.
"EXPLODING FLAME BLADE!"
She swings her sword at his neck.
At the moment of impact, a huge explosion occurs.
"YAHAA! Not done yet, [Blue Flame Blade]!"
The blade shines blue.
It turns into super-hot plasma and slashes through his body.
She cuts diagonally through his torso.
"L-Lady Higami! That was TOO MUCH!"
"This is a mock battle, we're not trying to KILL anyone!"
"That's what you get for underestimating me! HYA-HA-HA-HA!"
Higami is sure she won.
"THIS is the power of the STRONGEST fire hero!"
"──WOW! AMAZING! I'm impressed!"
She stiffens up.
"H-Hold on... Did I just hear that MAN'S voice...?"
"YEP! I'm right here!"
When the flames cleared, there stood a huge man with blonde hair, completely unharmed.
"WHAAAT!? What the HELL!? Is this for REAL!?"
Higami and the East Hero Party were all shocked.
"I CAN'T believe this! You were CUT in HALF!"
"AH! That was an AMAZING slash!"
"But WHY are you still ALIVE!?"
"HAH! I'm ALIVE and WELL!"
They were not understanding each other at all.
