Volume 1 Chapter 36-2 Lawrence Hero Party's (Promotional) Activities
The Carp King's attacks were evaded, but it wasn't enough to inflict a fatal blow.
'Hahaha! IS THAT ALL YOU'VE GOT!?'
With a spear in hand to guard against the fist, Ulgar was repelled.
"Chi...! You're pretty good, aren't you?"
'It's only natural! I'm a senior demon! I'm nothing like these lowly demons!'
Yet, there was no sign of despair on their faces.
'WHY!? WHY ARE YOU SO CALM!? I'M A SENIOR DEMON!'
"That's just how it is."
"That's right! We still have our Hero!"
And then, at that moment.
"Sorry I'm late, everyone!"
From the depths of the town, a blonde-haired giant of a man appeared.
In that instant... shiver!
A chill ran down the Carp King's spine.
His instincts screamed.
He had to finish this man off here and now.
"I've seen to the injured with Luna! The town and all its people are safe!"
The Carp King gazed back at the town in astonishment.
'Wha, what the hell!? The town that I destroyed, how could it be back to normal...!?'
"Luna! I'm counting on you to heal him!"
"Got it."
The girl with the staff moved towards the body of the Hero whose head had been smashed.
A holy light flashed brightly, and there stood the Hero, restored to his original form.
"I-I can't believe... I-I'm... alive...?"
Luna let out a sigh of relief.
'What incredible healing powers... Could it be, are you a Saint!?'
"Just a regular healer, really."
'There's no way that's true...!'
"Yes! Luna! You did great!"
The blonde-haired Hero drew his golden greatsword and walked towards the Carp King with a leisurely stride.
"I am Hero Lawrence! NOW, I'LL BE THE ONE TO TAKE YOU DOWN!"
...He was internally shaken; this was bad.
Each member of this Hero Party possessed extraordinary strength and ability.
He is the leader of such a monstrous assembly. Of course, one should infer the strength of a man named Lawrence.
Instinct sounds the alarm: flee!
But at the same time, if I don't kill him here, he could become the greatest obstacle to the long-reigning Demon King.
"Then, let us proceed as per usual... TO BATTLE!"

The light cuts through clouds, 撕裂s the sea.
Engulfed in the fierce stream of light, the Carp King's body crumbles to pieces.
A senior demon, defeated in a single strike... this is... Hero Lawrence... what strength...
A moment behind the light, a loud explosion echoes around.
The light extends to the horizon.
The sea, split in two.
There, the seawater surges in, one beat too late.
"Well, I guess I'll have to step up, Lawrence. I'm no match for you though!"
"Hah! Indeed! Ulgar! You've brought the enemy to me well! Thank you!"
"Sheesh, don't overdo it~ already."
Then, the Heroes he had helped bow their heads with a thud.
"Thank you, Mr. Lawrence! If it weren't for you, we'd be done for! Thank you!"
"I apologize for causing trouble to Heroes of another nation..."
Lawrence shakes his head and says with a smile.
"Don't worry about it! If someone's in trouble, you help them! That's what a Hero is, right?"
The Hero Party of Fortitia to Youya bows their heads repeatedly to Lawrence and the others.
"Ah, you guys are amazing... How can one become so strong like that?"
"Or perhaps, were you guys overwhelmingly strong from the very beginning?"
Lawrence was amazed by the strength of the party and became intrigued by the secret behind it.
With a forceful shake of his head, Lawrence replied.
"The reason I can be a Hero now is all thanks to Mr. Act nurturing me!"
"Mr. Act...?"
"Yeah! He's the Guildmaster of the Adventurers Guild [Gem of Heavenly Gift]! I wouldn't be here without him!"
It was a claim that was hard to believe at first glance, but the fact that Lawrence and his group possessed overwhelming strength was undeniable.
"We were originally members of the Gem of Heavenly Gift."
"That's right! Mr. Act is someone who reaches out to us weaklings and helps us develop our talents; he's amazing!"
Lawrence and his team, nurtured by Guildmaster Act.
Act Age. Just what kind of incredible person is he?
Before long, rumors of Act spread from person to person, from town to town.
Thus, as Hero Lawrence made his mark in various places, it also served as an advertisement for the power of the Gem of Heavenly Gift, and by extension, Act's influence.
