Looking up at Sir Rolus's face, which was high above, he was softly smiling while gazing in the direction where Lady Elena was likely to be.
Ah, this person must really like Lady Elena.
Even I, who still doesn't quite understand love or romance, thought so.
Ever since then, I observed Lady Elena and Sir Rolus whenever I had free time.
It was very clear that Lady Elena loved Sir Rolus.
This is because Lady Elena often spoke straightforward words of love like "I like you" or "I love you."

"Is your work here enjoyable?"
she asked.

I could only laugh it off.
"It's really enviable to be by Lady Elena and Mr. Rolus all the time... Those 2 are adorable, right?"
I nodded vigorously in response to Lady Natalia's words.
"They really are so close!"
"Even after becoming a couple, they still seem so affectionate."
"Yes! You can just tell how much they love each other, it's so enchanting to watch."
"I understand!"
"Right?"
We exchanged a firm handshake.
I felt like I had found a kindred spirit.
That was the feeling I had.
After that, we hit it off and chatted until Lady Elena returned, even promising to talk again sometime.
After Lady Natalia left, Lady Elena called out to me.
"I'm sorry for putting you in a position to talk to someone you just met, even if it was on the spur of the moment."
"No, Lady Natalia was very kind."
"Isn't she?"
Lady Elena giggled.
My mother used to say,
that people naturally gather around those who are similar to them.
Surely, Lady Elena is kind, so kind people gather around her.
I would love to join that group someday; it would be so wonderful.
"Oh, Lady Elena, my mother is finally being discharged from the hospital!"
"Really!? That's great! Oh, then let's have a welcome home party here next time!"
"Huh?"
"I'll bake a cake! Rolus! I'm going to bake a cake! I'm going to bake a lot!"
"Wait, no, Lady Elena!?"
