Just moments ago, I was watching Takeru-kun and Sagawa battle the Goblin Knight, the boss of the 9th floor.
Honestly? They were holding their own way better than I expected, considering their levels. Taking on a Body-Hardened Goblin Knight like that was no small feat.
But while they were putting up a fight, the truth was... they were being pushed back. I was waiting for the right moment to jump in—when suddenly...
"...Sagawa!?"
He grabbed his head like he had a migraine, his face twisting in pain.
And then—strangely enough—the Goblin Knight just stood there, not attacking despite having a perfect opportunity.
What the hell was going on...?
I decided to hold off on interfering, just in case.
And then—
"Hey... what are you doing, you idiot Takeru!?"

Sagawa sounded... off.
Growing concerned, I called out, "A-Are you okay, Sagawa...?"
"I'm fine! In fact, I feel better than ever!!"
He turned to me and—oh no.
He winked.
"...Huh?"
Normally, if Sagawa winked, I'd punch him into next week.
But instead of being annoyed... I... I thought he was...
C-cute!?
Wait, what!?
"W-Wait, is Sagawa... becoming feminine!?"
I blurted it out before I could stop myself. The words sounded ridiculous, but deep down, I knew I was right.
And I was horrified.

"Hey... what are you doing, you idiot Takeru!?"
"Wha!? Sagaemon is back, the hero returns—wait, what!?"
Huh? Huh-huh? Something's wrong.
"So, how's it going, Sagaemon? You feeling okay?"
I asked casually, trying to gauge the situation.
"Huh? Feeling? I'm great, really!"
"Huh. Oh, I see..."
Oh.
I see.
I get it now.
This... is the side effect of the Trans Potion.
I heard rumors about people in that other world experiencing the same thing—turning, uh, feminine due to the side effects.
But hey, at least it's not *something worse*, right?
Meanwhile, Rie-tan was still trying to process Sagawa's transformation.
Sagawa winked at her.
Usually, this would result in immediate physical violence.
But instead...
Rie-tan just froze.
Oh. She noticed.
Yeah, if anyone was gonna pick up on it, it'd be her.
As expected of Rie-tan!
While I was watching this ridiculous scene unfold, a deep, guttural growl snapped me back to reality—
"Guh... guggege... ge-gya!"
The Goblin Knight, now free from my Weak Intimidation, came charging at me with pure killing intent.
I was ready—'Body Awakening (Extreme)' already activated, my dual swords poised to strike—
But then—
"Chop! Chop!"
What.
Before I could react, Sagawa launched forward, quoting a Summer Days with Co* reference.
BANG!
"Wha—!?"
The Goblin Knight—who just moments ago was on a five-times-power boost rampage—got completely wrecked by Sagawa's suddenly god-tier swordsmanship.
Sagawa's attacks—faster, stronger, and sharper than anything we'd seen from him before—shattered the Goblin Knight's sword.
The monster let out a confused shriek.
"Hahaha! Right now, I can't lose to anyone!!"
Oh god. He even sounds different.
With the deep crimson gauntlet glowing ominously, Sagawa gathered his energy for one final blow.
"Get ready to BREAK! 'Flurry of Blows'!!"
And just like that—
BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM—!
A storm of punches rained down on the Goblin Knight, its body warping and compressing like mochi under a mallet.
"Gugih!? G-gugya... gugyaaahhh!!!"
One final, earth-shattering hit—
And boom.
The Goblin Knight was dead.
Just like that.
"I-I did it! I... defeated the Goblin Knight, the Floor Boss of the Upper Floors!!!!"
Sagawa cheered, pumping a fist in the air.
...With an effeminate voice.

One Minute Later
We should have been celebrating.
Instead—
"Hey! What the hell is going on, Takeru!?"
"...Takeru-kun? Can you please explain what exactly happened to Sagawa!?"
I was now being intensely interrogated by Berserk Mode Sagawa and Ultra Furious Rie-tan.
"Seriously, what happened in the middle of that fight that turned Sagawa into... this?!"
Rie-tan's glare could melt steel.
Yup. She was mad.
Oh, crap.
If I told the truth—that it was because of a world-hopping gender-bending potion—I was so dead.
I needed an excuse. Fast.
And then—
A divine revelation.
I would... use Sakurako-tan as a scapegoat.
