Volume 5 Chapter 60, Part 2 Huh? It seems like a digest
"Well? When will you deal with me?"
Randy turned, but no one was there.
...then, as if emerging from the void, an old man appeared.
"Excellent detection ability. I must commend you, despite being an enemy."
Randy sighed again at the clapping old man.
"I don't need your praise... If it's another old man, I'd rather have my crazy housekeeper praise me."
In response to Randy's mockery, the old man sighed and shook his head, saying, "Don't compare me to your housekeeper."
"So? Are we doing this or not?"
As Randy waved his hand, the old man smirked.
"Are you really that worried about [North Wall]?"
"No. If we don't hurry, Your Excellency might kill him before we get any information."
Randy returned the mockery, and the old man sighed, saying, "What foolishness."
"Sir Elliot is a person called [Emerald Sage]. He is not just a man of power──"
A vibration that drowned out the old man's words shook the building.
With Rolf's energetic strike, Randy showed a wry smile and said, "See?"
"As expected of [North Wall]... Well, that's fine. I'll kill you, and then I'll chase after him to resolve everything."
The old man crouched and readied his saber.
"My name is [Phantom Blade]. I am Morphas of [Phantom Blade]. Die, feeling honored to be killed by me."
Just as the old man's figure vanished, the tip of the saber grazed Randy's cheek.
Before the tip could be pulled back, the saber dissipated like mist.
'Now, how long can you avoid my [Phantom Blade]?'
At the voice resonating from the entire floor, Randy cracked his neck and crouched down.
"I don't know if you're a ghost or a human, but it feels like a department store of titles. Your value is plummeting!"
Morphas did not respond to Randy's mocking.
"Well, whatever. Come at me, old man. Randoplh Victor will take you on."
In response to Randy's words, the saber appeared again.

Rolf jumped up to the floor above, following Elliot's voice, and found himself surrounded by darkness.
'Well, that was lucky. I'm not stupid enough to take you head-on, so it's a good thing I got away,'
Rolf crouched down, responding to the voice that echoed through the darkness.
'Alright, here I go──'
Rolf swung his fist at the presence he sensed.
His fist caught something, but
...
'Sorry, that"s a fake,'
It seemed he had hit another dummy or something.
No matter how many times he swung his fist, he couldn't hit the real target.
This darkness seemed to be a magical space created by Elliot, like a magic.
He couldn't hear any noise from downstairs.
The vast, mysterious, and quiet space was disorienting, even for Rolf.
'North Wall would be shocked. You fell for the trick so easily,'
Rolf snorted in response to the mocking laughter from the darkness.
"I expected as much,"
Rolf clenched his right fist and slammed it down with all his might.
The space shook violently, and cracks began to appear in the darkness.
The darkness shattered like glass, and Rolf glared at Elliot, who had appeared in front of him, saying, "How pathetic."
"...You broke the 'Void Prison'?"
Although Elliot's words sounded calm, his face showed undeniable anxiety.
"Then, this time, I'll go all out──"
A dark mass covered Elliot from behind, but Rolf swung his battle-axe, which he had pulled out of his magic bag, and smashed it.
"What's the big deal about going all out?"
Rolf slammed his battle-axe to the ground, causing the earth to shake and the building to tremble.
It was clear that they were on a completely different level.
Elliot finally realized this and shouted, "You think you can do that?!" as he threw a smoke bomb.
Elliot tried to escape by jumping back, but Rolf's battle-axe broke through the smoke and attacked him.
Elliot barely dodged, but the battle-axe struck his right shoulder, blowing his right arm off.
"Guh..."
"You're retreating? That's pathetic,"
Elliot was completely at a disadvantage, facing Rolf with his battle-axe.
"Wait, please wait. Let's make a deal,"
Elliot raised his left hand, but it got blown off from the elbow.
"Ahh! You idiot! At times like these──"
Elliot's right foot was blown away.
"It's a deal. Then you should speak quickly about useful information. Every time you run your mouth, I think your body shrinks."
Rolf, carrying a battle axe, raised his arm without an elbow again as Elliot said, "Stand down."
"We, the [Pilgrim of Truth], will withdraw from Waldner."
"That's a lie──"
Rolf's battle axe tore through Elliot's torso up and down.

"Primitive human... was it a cave man?"
In front of Randy, who tilted his head, Morphas was breathing heavily.
"Sorry, but Keith, Mr. Aaron, and my grandpa fill the strong old man role. So──"
In front of the grinning Randy, Morphas shouted, "Foolish. Foolish, foolish," while preparing his saber.
"I won't give you a chance or time."
Randy pushed off the floor.
Morphas hurriedly turned into mist... but,
Randy's large strike greatly disturbed the surrounding air.
Unable to withstand the impossible force of the air, Morphas revealed himself.
"Ah, impossible. To shake me, who turned into mist, along with the air..."
"The way you train is different."
Randy snorted and swung his fist down at Morphas.
Morphas's body, struck down, broke through the floor and fell below.
Randy jumped down through the large hole, lifted the mangled Morphas, and tossed him, saying, "What? Is that it?"
Morphas was completely dead.
Still, it had been a while since a human remained against Randy.
(It's not just for show to have a title. But...)
Randy lost interest in Morphas's barely recognizable corpse and turned away.
"Titles, you know... they're cool because people call you that, right? At least the folks I know don't flaunt their titles."
With a sigh, Randy jumped into the hole he had opened to chase after Rolf.
