"What's wrong, Rudger? You seem lost in thought."
It was Elena who said this while peering into my face.
I feel like I've become much more mature than back then.
Well, I just graduated from the academy, so I'm not that grown up yet.

Seeing Rolus instinctively apologize, both Elena and I chuckled.

Yes, that day, Elena said she could just have Rolus go buy her yakisoba bread.

Today, we are all gathered for a tea party to celebrate that their wedding date has been officially set.
"Somehow, jumping from old stories to wedding talk makes me uneasy."

Upon hearing that, Elena smiled happily.

Suddenly being taken to another country, especially to a royal family, is daunting.
As I pondered, a leather pouch was presented before me.
"Since everyone is here, how about trying a simple stone divination? If you want to see, just reach inside and pick one."
Even if it's simple, I thought receiving some advice could help, so I quietly reached into the leather pouch.

Elena is laughing eerily.

As Elena continued to laugh, she placed the stone I chose in her palm, and it sparkled brilliantly.
"The words of this stone are, happiness will come. If it sparkles this much..."
"...that means..."
"If Rudger marries the person he's thinking of now, happiness will come. Why not share your feelings instead of pondering alone?"
Elena tilted her head cutely while smiling happily, which made me smile in return.
Well then, perhaps to share in Elena's happiness, I should take a step forward myself.
