"You didn't say it, right? I mean, if I told that kid, she would definitely try to stop you."

"That kid will definitely be sad."
I wonder if she'll actually be sad.

The lady saw me off with those words.
And now, I stand before the mansion drawn on the map.
It's only been a few hours since parting with the lady, yet I'm already worried.

After ringing the bell, I called out, and an incredibly handsome man appeared from inside.
...Could this person be the one engaged to the lady?
"I am Rolus, coming from the Countess Alfano."
"Ah, so you're the new servant. Please, come in."
The incredibly handsome man led me into the parlor, seated me, and said, "Please wait a moment," before leaving somewhere.
As I waited for a while, I heard footsteps coming from outside the room.
I didn't know who was coming, but I stood up to wait, and now an extraordinarily enchanting lady appeared.
Her deep-sea-like blue hair and eyes were very striking.
"Oh, oh, you're the child from the Alfano household, aren't you? Thank you for coming."
Despite her enchanting appearance, her voice seemed gentle.
"Nice to meet you, I am Rolus."
"Yes, nice to meet you. By the way, you seem to have quite the low magical power."

"I'm a fortune teller who has received the title of Honorary Baron, so that's easy."
The lady had also learned stone divination, but she could tell a person's magical power just at first glance, so this person might really be an amazing fortune teller.
"So, since you've come as a servant, that means I can ask you to do anything, right?"

"That's a great help. Well then, there's another mansion next to this one; could you clean there?"

The child she mentioned is the handsome man from earlier.

I bowed deeply.
I was led to a mansion that was slightly smaller than the one from earlier, yet still larger than most houses around.
"Your job is to clean every corner of that place."
"Yes."
"But for now, that's all you need to do, so feel free to take it easy."
"Huh?"
"If you work too hard, you'll run out of tasks, you know."
The handsome man chuckled as he said this.
"Here's a daily schedule. Well, it's more like a meal timetable. When it's time for dinner, please return to the earlier mansion. We'll do detailed self-introductions then."
After the handsome man left, I began to look around the mansion that I was tasked with cleaning.
I had braced myself for dirt since no one had lived here for a while, but it wasn't as dirty as I expected.
As the handsome man said, if I worked too hard, I might run out of things to do.
Having more work is better.
