While I was working in my office, I received a report from the [Knight Brigade] that someone was collapsed and foaming at the mouth near the Demon Lord city.
When I teleported to the scene, the one who had collapsed was the merchant Larc.

"Mr. Zeke... I apologize for the trouble."
This is the interior of the outer wall surrounding the border.
It also serves as the barracks for the [Knight Brigade].

The dragons guarding the gate and patrolling the skies came over to me.
'Bro! I did my best on patrol too! Praise me!'

Larc looked at the dragons, who were laughing innocently, with a stunned expression.
"Um... Mr. Zeke. If I'm not mistaken, this dragon is a [Blaze Dragon], right?"
"That's right. What about it?"
"No, no, no! It's an S-rank ancient dragon species!? To have so many of them here...! This is too crazy!"
The Blaze Dragons kept coming over, asking for praise one after another.
"What is this huge number of S-ranks!?"
I answered while patting their heads.
"Recently, I formed a knight brigade for national defense. They are [Dragon Knights]. Their main roles are to guard and patrol the town."

Each of them returned to their posts.

We walk through the Demon Lord city with Larc.
"This town is so beautiful, isn't it? The roads are paved so nicely... It can compete with any tourist spot."
"That's great. Everyone who worked hard will be happy to hear that."
In the Demon Lord country, humans and non-humans cooperate and live together, respecting each other while working.
The town here is a creation of humans and fairies combining their wisdom, strength, and technology.
"Um... Mr. Zeke. I think I might be mistaken, but... aren't there quite a few fairies around here?"
"Oh, yeah. Is something strange?"
"It's strange! Fairies rarely show themselves in front of people, yet they've been flying around like crazy!"

When the fairies see me, they all rush over.
'Master Demon Lord! Good morning! You look cool today too! Play with us, Master Demon Lord!'
In no time, I'm surrounded by fairy children.
The fairy kids cling to me all over.

Lilin chases the fairies away.

Larc squats down on the spot with a thud.

"I've only ever seen fairy royalty in ancient texts! And now... they're casually walking outside like this!"
'Haha! Isn't it amazing? Now all fairies, including royalty, are under the Demon Lord's command!'
Lilin puffed out her chest with pride.
Larc's eyes and mouth are wide open, trembling.

"Strange... did I say something funny?"
