Volume 3 Chapter 1 God Class Duel
A few days had passed since I wrapped up the commotion in the Fairy Country.
"Hey, Doctor! Mister Zeke! I heard you've reached the God Class! Let's have a duel!"
It was the Divine Dragon King who came to visit me.
He's one of the Divine Beasts living in the Demon Lord Kingdom.
I'm not fond of roughhousing, but knowing my own power is important, and it would be inconsiderate to refuse my friend's invitation.
So, I headed out to the outskirts of the Demon Lord Kingdom for our duel.
"Wow, Doctor, you're incredible! A human who has leveled up to God Class is unheard of. Truly impressive!"
"Is that so?"
"Of course! At least, I've never seen it in my lifetime!"
Honestly, even if they say I'm a god now, I don't feel any different.
There isn't any notable change in my body... but having gained the title of Over Ruler, I have acquired a few new abilities.
"By the way, if a God Class fights, things tend to get pretty destructive. Doctor, can you set up a barrier for us?"
"Nah, it's not necessary. Right now, we're in a different space than where we were just a moment ago."
"A different space...?"
"My left hand... [the Left Hand of Divine Magic] can create anything based on my magical power."
I can create not just swords and ores, but entire spaces anew.
"Ah ha ha! This is wild, Doctor! You truly deserve the title of God Class! Amazing!"
I should test out my other abilities as well.
"With this, I can go all out! Here I go, Doctor!"
"Yeah, let's do this, [Sharlon]."
Without a moment's pause, Divine Dragon King Sharlon closes in on me.
He unleashes a barrage of strikes at breathtaking speed, which I block with my hands.
With each collision of fists, shockwaves ripple out, tearing the ground apart.
He's going all out, delivering blows capable of shattering rock with lightning speed.
"Ah ha! This is amazing! You're keeping up with my serious punches! How about this?!"
Closing the distance to 0, I throw an uppercut.
I was blown up into the air, and Sharlon was chasing after me.
While floating in the sky, we continued to exchange punches and kicks.
The air roared, the ground shook, and the trees were blown away.
But in this created virtual space, there was nothing alive except for us, so it was okay to break anything.
"With your body technique on par with the Divine Dragon King, it means your physical ability has improved far beyond when you were human! You're amazing, Doctor!"
With a quick motion, Sharlon distanced himself in the air and readied his fist.
"So how about this!"
An overwhelming magic power gathered in his fist, enveloped in holy flames.
"[Flame Dragon Fist]!"
What he unleashed was a blow that shot out a sphere of hellfire, both in power and temperature, far exceeding that of a massive flame.
I caught it with my eyes, and then, I mimicked it.
"[Flame Dragon Fist]"
Throwing my fist just like Sharlon did, an identical blow was unleashed.
The two collided in the air, scorching the ground and the sky.
Surrounded by a scorched earth, we faced each other in mid-air.
"This is incredible, Doctor! To imitate my technique after seeing it just once! Is this from the rank-up benefit?"
"Yeah. It's the [Eyes of Divine Magic]. I can appraise anything and perfectly mimic it."
If combined with the Divine Demon's left hand, it means I can replicate magic and materials just by seeing them.
"No way! That's ridiculously awesome, Doctor!"
Staggering in the air, Sharlon was losing his balance.
I caught him and descended to the ground.
"Whew! Hah! That last one drained some magic. But you seem to be okay, Doctor."
"Yeah. Thanks to the [Heart of Divine Magic]. I got a heart that generates limitless magic."
"Haha! With that kind of strength and unlimited magic, you're surpassing the average Divine Beast, Doctor. Is this rank-up benefit the last one?"
"Well, there's one more, but it's kind of insane."
I looked at my right hand and spoke.
Using my right hand now wouldn't be wise.
"Shall we wrap this up?"
"Yeah, thanks for hanging out, Sharlon."
I used the Hand of God to control the power and completely restore the magic of the Divine Dragon King.
"As expected, the Doctor is amazing. To fully restore my magic power like that."
The revived Shalon wraps her arm around my shoulder.
"I think it's a power worthy of being the king of all beasts, Divine Beast and magic beast alike."
