Volume 3 Chapter 13 All Friends Kiss and Level Up
I decided to power up my friends in preparation for the upcoming enemy.
"Brother, this is amazing... I feel like I'm in a completely different dimension as a magician from just a few seconds ago."
Even without casting any spells, Cino's body floated off the ground—
The sheer volume of magical energy lifting her effortlessly.
"I think I'll skip the test... I might accidentally blow up the castle."
"Seriously? You can power up that much just from a magic supply?"
"Normally, you just receive magical energy. But with you, brother... it's like there's a rank-up effect on top of that."
And then—
"Zeeekeeee..."
With a dramatic clatter, the door burst open.
A girl stood there, black aura swirling ominously around her.
"Chippy? What's wrong?"
"What's wrong!? That's what you're asking, you idiot!?"
Chippy, in her human form, stomped toward me.
Wham!
She jabbed a finger at Cino.
"You! Thief! How dare you steal my Zeke's lips!? Kya!"
"Brother isn't yours."
Cino huffed and turned her head away.
"Zeke!"
"Uh... yes?"
"I want a contract too...!"
"Ah... sure. Cino, get the contract magic ready."
Cino grimaced, clearly not thrilled.
"Ugh... I suddenly forgot how to do the contract."
"Hurry up or I'll bite you!"
"Fine, bring it on."
Crackle...!
Sparks flew between them.
"Cino... please."
"Yes♡ ...not you—brother♡"
"Grrrrr~~~! Just because you kissed him first doesn't make you the main wife!"
A few tense moments later—
Everything was ready. Chippy leaned in...
And we kissed.
"Amazing... my body... ugh! Aaaah!"
In an instant, her body exploded in size.
Before me stood a massive dragon, towering overhead.
"B-B... Behemoth...!? That's an SS-rank monster—one of the ancient dragon species!"
The earth dragon was, at best, B-rank.
Yet... just a single kiss powered her up to ancient dragon level!?
'Amazing, Zeke! I can feel the power surging!'
"As expected of you, brother... evolving her into an ancient dragon so easily."
"For now... could you, uh, go back to your original form?"
Chippy reverted to her human shape.
I waved my right hand to repair the room she'd wrecked.
'Big brother! I want to too!'
'...Me too.'
The Divine Beasts closed in, eyes sparkling.
'Big broooooo!'
And then—
Slam!
The door practically broke off its hinges as a horde of Blaze Dragon poured in.
'I can kiss big bro!? I want to! I want to kiss big bro-ssu!'
'No way! I'm first!'
'Move over! I was here before you!'
In seconds, the room was packed.
"I heard the rumors, and now everyone's coming to beg for a kiss from you, big brother."
"Wow, Zeke... you're really popular."
I had a sinking feeling about where this was going...
It was going to get out of hand fast.
In the end—
I powered up everyone who showed up.
