Volume 2 Chapter 4 The Archbishop is Scolded by the Emperor
Demon Lord Zeke returned the captive to Archbishop Gubetz.
A few days later, in the Holy Empire.
This country of the great Theocracy family is filled with white buildings and statues of gods.
Everyone wears something like a white robe, and when they see the Archbishop, they all bow their heads.
"Damn it! That annoying Zeke! How dare a mere monster king get so cocky!"
Gubetz, biting his nails, arrived at the castle where the Emperor resides.
To mobilize the knights of the imperial castle.
"If the Emperor finds out that the divine dragon was taken, I'll be in big trouble! Before that, I need to kill Zeke and get the divine dragon back."
The Archbishop has the authority to mobilize the group.
However, that is only in emergencies when large magic beasts or Demonkin appear.

The Archbishop went straight to the commander of the imperial knights.
"This is Archbishop. What brings you here?"
The commander was a beautiful man, almost mistaken for a woman.
"Send the knights! Lead the entire army to attack the Demon Lord's country!"
"Wha!? What are you saying all of a sudden? Don't joke with me!"
The commander raised his voice.
"I have command over the entire army!"
"Shut up, you commoner! The authority in emergencies is granted by His Majesty the Emperor!"
Gubetz shouted, spitting as he spoke, while the commander calmly replied.
"I received a report from the subordinate who was captured. The Demon Lord's side treated him very courteously."
The commander narrowed his eyes and said.
"Excuse me, Archbishop, but was the new Demon Lord really an evil being?"
"Shut up! You commoner! It's a hundred years too early for you to give me your opinion!"
Bang!
Gubetz punched the commander and sent him flying.
"Hurry up and gather the knights, you fool! Otherwise, I'll report you to His Majesty the Emperor for dismissal!"
It was then that it happened.
"Oh? What do you have to say to me?"
When he turned around, there stood a nervous-looking man in his forties.
"H-His Majesty the Emperor...!"
"Gubetz, you come to the castle and don't even greet me first? What is the meaning of this?"
"W-well, that is... um..."
"Is there something you're hiding? Hmm?"
Gubetz sweated profusely.
"N-no, there's nothing suspicious!
"I see. So the matter of the prisoner exchange went smoothly, then?"
"Y-yes! Of course! Perfectly, without a hitch!"
"I see, I see," the Emperor nodded.
"Even though you let the Divine Dragon King be taken by the Demon Lord?"
"W-what!? H-how do you know that!?"
The Emperor frowned in displeasure.
He took out a staff from his pocket and waved it lightly.
Crush!
Gubetz was crushed by gravity.
"You fool!"
The Emperor glared at Gubetz with a furious expression, stepping on him repeatedly.
"You lost the Divine Dragon King, a treasure of my empire, because of your mistake!? Do you understand the extent of that loss!?"
"I-I apologize!"
"Whose permission do you have to look up at me? Bow your head and crawl, you fool!"
Crushed by gravity, Gubetz deeply bowed down.
"Get it back quickly, you idiot!"
"B-but... the opponent is quite skilled..."
"Tch...! There's no other choice. Commander, hand over command to Gubetz."
The commander, who had been silent, spoke up in a panic.
"H-His Majesty the Emperor, perhaps that's not a good idea? The Demon Lord is a reasonable person. We should properly negotiate and apologize."
The Emperor frowned again in displeasure.
The gravity magic activated, and the commander was blown through the glass window.
"Gubetz, state my name."
"Ha! His Majesty the Emperor [Gomidius] !"
"Indeed. If history remembers me as the greatest fool for losing the Divine Dragon King, how will you take responsibility?"
Emperor Gomidius points his staff at the archbishop.
"Right now, immediately, crush the Demon Lord nation. Lead the entire group and kill all those bothersome monsters...!"
"Y-yes! As you command!"
Hmph, snorting, Gomidius says with cold eyes.
"If you cannot do it, you will face the appropriate punishment."
"I-I understand! I will definitely kill all the monsters and bring back the Divine Dragon King!"
"Your enthusiasm means nothing. Show it with results."
Releasing the gravity magic, the emperor departs.
"Damn it...! Zeke! I will definitely kill you! Just wait for me!"
