Volume 2 Chapter 2 Celestial Knights Serving God
One day,
The fire dragons reported that enemies were attacking the monsters.
At the werewolf-inhabited farm, where Koberto and the others lived.
"Hahaha! Kill them all! Don't let a single monster live!"
There, stood knights in pure white armor, adorned with white capes.
Around their necks hung pendants with angelic cross designs.
The knights were surrounded by fallen werewolves.
"Demon... Lord..."
Bloodied Koberto noticed me.
"...What are you all doing?"
I quickly healed Koberto and approached the knights.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Zeke. And you?"
"I am Captain Norquin! Are you trying to interfere with our righteous deeds?"
"Righteous... you say?"
Captain Norquin smirked and replied.
"Indeed! Slaying evil monsters is the honorable duty of the Celestial Knights of the Holy Empire!"
"D-Demon Lord... Holy Empire?"
Koberto asked from behind.
"It's a massive theocratic nation. The Celestial Knights belong to that country and they consider everything except God and His creations as evil, they're dangerous folks."
Having decided to create a nation for both humans and monsters, conflicts with these people who casually harm monsters are inevitable.
"There should have been a Golem guard, did you destroy it too?"
"Of course, anyone who hinders the path of our Celestial Knights is evil and must be eliminated! That includes this man here."
Captain Norquin raised his arm with a powerful gesture.
"! Old man!"
"Sorry... doctor..."
The old man was brutally beaten.
"This scoundrel claimed these monsters were his family, so I had to punish him!"
Because he protected the monsters, they deemed him evil...

The knights rush to attack me.

The Celestial Knights fall to the ground.

and the angel stiffens and falls to the ground.
