Volume 1 Chapter 51 Towards the Healing of the Demon Lord
I was asked by Elaina, the daughter of the Demon Lord, to come to their country as a doctor.
Of course, as a human, I have mixed feelings about healing the Demon Lord, who is a threat to the world.
But the patient is still a patient.

Beside the large bed stood an elderly demonkin with a snake coiled around his neck.
Leaning on a cane, he smirked and approached us.
"...Jamael. You're the one who sent assassins after me, aren't you?"
I see. If Elaina brought a doctor who could heal her father (the Demon Lord), Jamael would lose his command.
That's why this general, Jamael, was trying to stop her.
"Such baseless accusations~ Do you have any proof?"
"...Enough. Leave the room. You're in the way of his treatment."
Jamael looked at me and let out a mocking laugh.
"My, my, Princess, are you in your right mind~? What can a weak, powerless human, inferior even to a fly, possibly do~?"
Despite the presence of an enemy (a human), Jamael showed no particular intent to attack.
He must have thought I was a trivial existence.
Indeed, compared to a hero, a beast veterinarian like me is nothing.
"Step aside, Jamael. You're in the way of the doctor's treatment. Please."
I nodded and went with her to the Demon Lord's side.

The Demon Lord was lying on the bed.

Light returned to the Demon Lord's eyes, and he began to move on his own.

Jamael's face twisted in shock.
"Father!"
"Elaina... what happened to me...?"
"Sir Zeke, the great doctor, healed you!"
"You..."
The Demon Lord looked at me with wide eyes, then bowed his head deeply.
"You saved me. I thank you, human doctor."
"You're welcome. I'm glad it worked out."
Just then──
Bang!
The door to the room was violently thrown open, and a horde of Demonkin flooded in.
"Now, now~ Your Majesty~. You're still our puppet, you know~"
Jamael grinned wickedly as he looked at us.
"And you're the culprit. The healing magic that was cast on the Demon Lord matched yours."
"You saw through the shape of the magic, right? That's amazing..."
Impressed, Elaina, but Jamael is like, Hmph!
and snort.
"So what? Hey guys! Kill these troublemakers!"
The Demonkins are all trying to attack us at once. But...
"[Paralyze]"
Bash...!
and the movement of Demonkins will be forcibly stopped.
"[Sleep]"
Thud!
The Demonkins collapse on the spot.
"Wh-Wh-What is that powerful abnormal status skill!? Y-You...are you a hero?"
"I'm just a beast veterinarian"
"D-Damn it! Damn it! At this rate...! "

He pointed his cane at us.
I used my ice sword to freeze him.
"Are you a hero? Your strength is incredible."
The Demon Lord seemed impressed and muttered so.
