"A tour to greet the citizens of Euphemia, is it?"
"Hmm, could I ask you to do that?"
Today, a few days after I started spending time at the Emerald Cat Hospital, I was in my room with Thea, Monica, and the kids as usual when I received that request from Mr. Seius, the chairman.
Apparently, quite a few citizens have been asking about Thea's condition since she was captured as a slave, and they want to see her healthy.
"So, why me for the greetings?"

Thea, who has become quite the spoiled child, clings tightly to my arm.
Well, it's true that Thea has become more lively, but she still can't part from me or Monica.
I can understand why she feels safer with someone close by.
"But what exactly am I supposed to do for the greetings? I don't mind being with her, but as for speeches, Duke would be better than me..."
"No, you're more effective with the people of Euphemia. You don't need to do anything complicated; just travel around the villages with Thea and interact with everyone as usual. After that, we'll find a way to explain it ourselves."

So, he means I just need to be Thea's attendant?
From my perspective, I'm curious about how the other villages, besides the Emerald Cat clan, are doing, so I don't mind at all... I can still walk on my own too.

While the heavy expectations are a bit concerning... essentially, I just need to get along with the people of Euphemia together with Thea, so what I'll do isn't really different from when I was in Ortria.
Having grown stronger after overcoming the Granbell Family's party and Rifine's birthday party, I now have the confidence to become friends with a lot of people, if not all the citizens of Euphemia.
Besides, Thea is here now.
"Thea, do you remember what I said?"

I know I can't do it alone, but with Thea, it's not a dream to be loved by all the beastmen in the country.
For Thea's sake, I'll take Lisa and the others' advice and give it a try.

Thus, we ended up going on a month-long trip within the Euphemia region.
However, it wasn't due to my or Thea's health; rather, it became a problem when the children left behind in the hospital started crying over our departure, and there was a lot of bickering among the adults about who would accompany us as medical staff besides Seius, which delayed our departure by a day... but that's just a side note.
