Chapter 122 Apex Battle
Amatsu, the strongest assassin of the empire, felt more excited than ever because of the strong enemies that kept appearing.

In truth, Amatsu had no loyalty or feelings for the empire or the emperor who ruled it.

He filled his sword with magical power and rushed at Carlot like a fierce wind.
For an average soldier, the speed and power of his slash would turn them into pieces before they even realized it, but Carlot easily deflected it with his sword and struck back smoothly.
Amatsu jumped back to avoid the merciless blade that aimed to cut him in half──taking advantage of that opening, Leol and Lygar charged at him from both sides.

A wolf's fist wrapped in lightning and a tiger's palm wrapped in fire were coming at him.

He wraps a thin layer of magic around the town and focuses hard on the spots where fighting happens, keeping his magic from running out while providing a strong defense.
Even though he is only supporting from behind, he is also a very strong magician, just like Carlot and the others.
Amatsu saw this right away.
Because of that, he couldn't help but admire them in his heart.
"That's amazing," he said.
It wasn't just their power, but the fact that these strong men gathered here only to protect Yumie Granbell.
Amatsu was very interested in Yumie, who was so important that they had this much strength close by to come to her aid just ten seconds after the attack.
