Chapter 122 Summary Of Second Daughter Velzandi Vol Iv

 Hey hey, it's Vel-chan!

The second daughter of the 3 goddesses, VelVel here!

Hehe, it's been a while, everyone!

Wow, this time it was a big story about Shou from Loki of the Skyscraper, bursting with excitement!

VelVel was super happy and thrilled!

 So, let's recap!

 - First part

Accidentally saying something like a confession is a classic in rom-coms, right?

Hiiro and the others have cute interactions, but they finally get organized into a squad!

And guess what? One of the members is that girl, Lya-Lya, who helped make up with Quollio!

Lya-Lya's big sister is also super energetic and nice, and the captain is Mr. Shidou!

He's strict but reliable, and the squad name, Reginleif, was so cool!

 - Second part

With more friends, the excitement goes up, and the beast-hunting mission is a piece of cake!

The cat sisters were strong too!

Sham-Sham swung around a huge iron ball, going bang!

And Lya-Lya can use 2 types of magic!

Plus, Lya-Lya has Mokumon, a lamp spirit, helping her with magic.

Mokumon is so cute, I just want to hug it!

 - Third part

But, oh no, Mokumon actually looks like a white beast...

Shu-Shu, who hates beasts, seems to have a hard time accepting that.

And then, Hiiro notices Shu-Shu's ruthless side.

Shu-Shu walked away with a sad face.

Hiiro also heard from Quollio that beasts might actually come from "people's regrets."

And then, it's Hiiro's hero time!

Hiiro makes Shu-Shu promise, "If I become a beast, you have to kill me!"

If the strength of regret becomes the strength of a beast, then Hiiro will definitely become an incredibly strong beast.

Even though she won't stop hating beast or seeking revenge, if she stays trapped in revenge, she won't be able to stop him as a beast. So just focus on him!

Hey, Vel, did you hear that? This is basically a proposal!

Wow! Shu-Shu seemed surprised but agreed. But, Shu-Shu's face looked really happy.

 - Fourth Part

The tension with Shu-Shu is gone, but it's not good to leave the girl we just met hanging. So now it's Lya-Lya's turn!

They went shopping together, cooked for each other, compared hand sizes, and ended up calling each other "Hiiro." It was really fun!

It felt so much like being with girls, and Vel was totally smitten.

I heard things get tough in the original story, but I hope they find happiness here. Go, Hiiro!

 - Fifth Part

So, guess what? The Reginleif team got to guard a famous theater troupe!

Apparently, Joosa's town was attacked by beasts, and they're putting on a special play to comfort everyone. When Hiiro and the others arrived, they were welcomed by everyone in Joosa.

The further you get from Asgardam, the more knights seem to be a bother, but since Hiiro did so well in Korghi Village, it seems to have helped. The town mayor, Mr. Haboch, was all smiles!

The theater troupe was full of interesting people. The troupe leader, Mr. Drodo, suddenly tried to pull Hiiro on stage, and the main duo, Marcus and RosRos, were both beautiful and unique.

Especially RosRos, who immediately started arguing with Hiiro, so maybe they get along well?

 - Sixth Part

Since it was a bodyguard mission, everyone was having a meeting when the town mayor invited them to meet the Inquisitorial Council, which was made up of old folks. Honestly, it felt super suspicious, especially since they were all wearing big diamond jewelry that looked really flashy.

The next day, while Hiiro was on patrol with Shu-Shu, he learned from Shu-Shu that there were no cemeteries in this town. He was wondering why when the town mayor showed up again. He took them to a canyon outside of town and explained the funeral ritual of Joosa. It seems that for Joosa, they turn the bones of the deceased into powder and let it blow away in the wind. That's why there were no cemeteries in Joosa.

 - Seventh Part

On the way back from the funeral ritual, Shu-Shu seemed to be lost in thought and wandered off, and that's when Hiiro bumped into RosRos. To his surprise, he was invited to have a meal just the two of them. Hiiro was definitely in a popular phase! The dinner felt really nice, especially since they had been arguing before. He accidentally got tipsy on wine and started talking like his true self, Shou, but RosRos seemed to really enjoy it. They even opened another bottle of wine, but Hiiro ended up spilling his glass everywhere, oops!

That made RosRos a bit upset, and the dinner ended there. Hiiro was feeling down on the way home when Ruru (Ruthless) shocked him with, "If you had drunk that wine, Master would have died!" Hiiro was like, "What!?" That surprised even Vel.

 - Eight Part

It was almost a crisis for the protagonist, but tomorrow would still come. Since today was the day of the theater performance, everyone in Joosa was treated to wine from the theater troupe. It turns out that this is how the Wagnertheater troupe does things, by hosting in advance. But Captain Shidou made it clear that drinking during work was a big no-no for the squad!

Finally, the big show is here. It's a story about a king from Asgardam who got betrayed by his witch friend 5 hundred years ago, but in the end, the witch seems to have lost. There was a scene where the witch was burned at the stake, and everyone in the town started acting weird. They all shouted, "Burn her! Burn her!" Ugh, humans can be so scary.

But it could have been way worse. In a vision that Vel saw, as soon as Ms. Rose said that the people in this town were more guilty, they all turned into beasts, and those beasts attacked the townspeople. It was like a hellish nightmare. But that didn't happen. No one turned into a beast.

 - Ninth Part

Unexpectedly, RosRos panicked and ran into the forest outside the town. Then, Hiiro, Shu-Shu, and Lya-Lya showed up and revealed the truth. It turns out that the wine RosRos had that night was a crazy poison that could turn people into beasts. Shu-Shu guessed that it might be served as a treat before the show. So, to stop this from happening, they secretly swapped the poison wine with regular wine without telling the theater troupe! Wow, Hiiro really played it smart.

But then, someone who seemed to be the mastermind showed up. It was none other than Director Drodo! It looks like RosRos has a grudge against everyone in Joosa, and calling her a witch, he summoned 2 strong horse-like beasts and a bunch of other beasts. What is Mr. Drodo up to? RosRos took off with the beasts, and it was a big crisis. But thanks to Shu-Shu saying, "Leave this to me and go ahead," Hiiro and Lya-Lya chased after RosRos.

Shu-Shu is so cool! But I was wondering if she could handle it alone. Just then, Shu-Shu pulled out a bright red sword that was burning from hers chest. Wow, that was some crazy strong power!

 - Tenth Part

Meanwhile, Quollio and the others who stayed in the town were fighting to protect everyone from beasts that suddenly attacked. With Marcus's help, they set up a strong barrier around the tent and were ready for anything. But it seemed like the town mayor, who was holding a jar carefully, was a bit slow to escape. It felt like, "What are you doing, man?" Just then, RosRos showed up with that horse beast.

From there, it was all about RosRos, who started talking about the witch hunts that happened in Joosa. So, the witch hunts were caused by the sudden disappearance of a red Magi about 20 years ago, which led to all sorts of disasters. Back then, everyone was shouting that it was the work of something from 5 hundred years ago, and that's how the witch hunts started. During that time, Joosa also had witch hunts, and it seems RosRos's mom was one of the victims. Plus, it turned out that the Inquisitorial Council was the one stirring things up during the Joosa witch hunts.

Why did the Inquisitorial Council do that? Well, the jar the town mayor had was actually a white beast called "Memento Mori," which could turn the bones of the dead into diamonds. So, it looks like they were planning to make money from it. Ugh, humans can be so scary!

For RosRos, it was all about avenging her mom. And since she found out about the Inquisitorial Council's wickedness, Quollio got confused about which side to take... and in that moment of hesitation, a beam attack hit him, making a hole in his shoulder. Quollio was in big trouble!

But then, Hiiro rushed in to help! What a true hero!

 - Eleventh Part

Hiiro made a grand entrance and went straight to face the black horse beast. Lya-Lya managed to turn the situation around, like a doctor helping Quollio, but the black horse seemed to control its sticky, muddy sweat really well, so it wasn't a total comeback. Plus, Hiiro looked super frustrated. I thought it was because his friend got seriously hurt, but it seemed like it was something else. Then RosRos started teasing him... and suddenly, Hiiro's mood changed completely.

Yeah. It really changed. Something from RosRos triggered it, and after that, Shou was amazing. He took down the horse beast that had been giving them so much trouble in a crazy way. That ruthless attitude to win was definitely the 'Loki of the Skyscraper' Shou. After that, the tide turned quickly, and Mr. Shidou took down the other white horse too. Unable to take it anymore, RosRos ran away, and Hiiro ended up chasing after her alone.

 - Twelfth Part

She used to call herself Rose, but back when she was still in the town, she was called Roze. But after she got separated from her mom, she had to survive on her own, and it seemed really tough for her. Then she met Director Drodo, who scouted her, and she finally got to become the actress she had always dreamed of, living a life full of ups and downs. But after hearing from Director Drodo that the witch hunt for Joosa was actually stirred up by the Inquisitorial Council to create diamonds, it seems she chose the path of revenge...

When Shou cornered Rose, no, RozRoz, at the cliff where the funeral ceremony was happening, he didn't acknowledge her. Even if the feelings of hatred were real, the stage and means for that revenge weren't set up by RozRoz. So when RozRoz was pressed by him, asking if she really started the revenge herself, she couldn't answer. Maybe deep down, RozRoz wanted to cherish her dreams instead.

But at that moment, when RozRoz tried to stand up, her shoe heel broke, and she fell down the cliff with Shou who tried to help her. Vel's face turned totally blue at that time.

 - Thirteenth Part

Thanks to Hiiro crawling out of the river, the two of them were somehow saved, but Hiiro got seriously hurt, like a big hole in his stomach from a piece of driftwood. But he carried RozRoz to a cave he found nearby, took off her clothes to keep her warm, and hugged her. That's when he lost consciousness. So when RozRoz woke up, she panicked for a moment.

From there, RozRoz tried to kill Hiiro with a knight's sword, but she couldn't do it. They talked about many things when Hiiro woke up. RozRoz was curious why Hiiro noticed her true feelings of wanting to choose dreams over revenge... but, well, RozRoz couldn't understand that.

Because maybe it was because RozRoz, who sacrificed her dreams for revenge, looked just like past Shou, who sacrificed himself for his dreams.

 - Fourteenth Part

After the fire, Shou was taken in by his grandparents on his dad's side. There, Shou was loved by them, but his grandma started to suffer from dementia. She began to think Shou was his dad... Atami Kei. It was probably hard for her to cope with losing her son in the fire.

But after that day, Shou started pretending to be Kei. His grandpa opposed it, but Shou wouldn't listen, saying it was for his grandma.

For Shou, it was his very first act of helping someone.

But in the end, grandma passed away, and instead of the "thank you" he wanted to hear, her last words were "I'm sorry." Here, Shou seemed to realize his own failure. So when Shou thinks he "has to become the protagonist," it's probably a reminder for him.

Everyone is the main character of their own life. But Shou killed the most important thing to become a hero.

 - Fifteenth part

In a long yet short rain shelter, Shou and RozRoz shared their feelings. Maybe because of that, RozRoz seemed to give up on revenge. But that also means the end for the witch... so the curtain has to fall.

The next morning, Hiiro returned to Joosa holding RozRoz's hair as proof of defeating the witch. The town mayor was angry about not bringing the body, but Hiiro was even angrier. That right hook looked painful!

Of course, the town mayor was mad, but everyone in town didn't side with him. This was because the Inquisitorial Council, scared after being attacked by RozRoz, confessed to their wrongdoings. So, everyone in town realized what they had done and didn't support the town mayor.

The town mayor and the Inquisitorial Council were taken to the knight order headquarters, while everyone in town carried their sins.

And so, the tragedy of this town came to an end.

 - Sixteenth part

So, what happened to RozRoz? She was alive! She dyed her shorter hair, wore glasses, changed her makeup, name, and mannerisms, and is living in the present. Hiiro didn't even recognize her, so top-notch actresses are really amazing!

But Hiiro needs to be prepared.

RozRoz's eyes were definitely serious. Hehe, I'm looking forward to when the two will meet again!

 And that's it for now!

Wow, it's been a while since I had a turn, so I got a bit carried away and delivered it more seriously than usual!

Huh? Even so, it sounds more like my thoughts than a summary?

No more being mean, please forgive me, I'm begging you!

Will you forgive me? Hehe, thank you so much!

Well then, let's meet again next time! It's a promise!
