Ice had her eyes closed.
What she saw was the abandoned castle, the main base of the Fist of the Dragon army. There, she saw Wade and Fist of the Dragon fighting in the distance.
It was an extremely intense battle. At first, it was like they were trying to catch up with each other's afterimages, exchanging blows at an incredible speed.
But as time passed, her eyes got used to it. It was still too fast, but after observing for several hours, she began to understand many things.
"...Amazing. Wade-kun, you're dodging half of Fist of the Dragon's attacks..."
She thought that direct combat would be the fastest way to grasp the situation. But now, Wade's evasion ability was reaching the world's highest level.
Wade and her beloved wives were doing their best. Thinking that, Ice's determination overflowed within her.
With that thought in her heart, Ice opened her eyes.
"Then, let's start Wade-kun's rescue meeting..."
Before her eyes, everyone was gathered. All party members, except Wade, and Frain's party members were present.
Clay, Toxy, Sandra. Frain, Kadras, Sylvia, Gold, Dream.
And Ice herself, who would lead this meeting.
Everyone was gathered around the central table in Wade's party house living room.
The time was early morning, the day after Wade was captured.
"You're going to lead this, Ice?"
Frain asked, and Ice replied, "Yeah..."
"I probably more experienced than anyone else in planning strategies like this..."
"Clay, is that true?"
"That's true. After all, Ice-san is the only one who's a gold-ranked group leader, so she's the only one who can come up with strategies."
"Damn, got it. Then, what should we do, Military Advisor-sama?"
"Yeah, I'll explain..."
Ice spread out a map on the table.
"...What's this? I've never seen a building like this before."
"Ice-chan, could this be... the map of Fist of the Dragon's headquarters?"
"Yeah... I made it since I grasped the whole picture..."
Ice nods in response to Toxy's confirmation, and the Frain party starts to murmur.
"The Wade party is really dangerous, isn't it? They're leaking any enemy info..."
"No way, as fellow adventurers, we can't help but lose confidence. But, I'm different from you guys..."
Kadras and Dream say their piece. Ice smiles wryly and says, "Let's continue, okay?"
"The favor I'm asking is really simple. Today, Gold-san prepared a sword called 'Durandal' and I want you to give it to Wade-kun, okay?"
Gold, who was half-asleep, is shaken awake by Sylvia sitting next to him. But no one blames him for it.
The most noticeable thing is his lost right arm.
The sleeve that's lost its contents is dripping with blood. From what the Frain party can see, it was fine until yesterday. But it's been cut off. Or so it seems.
Gold strokes his bald head, looking worried, and says,
"Ah, it's complete, so... Please, give it to Wade, Sylvia."
"...Yeah."
On the other hand, Sylvia's eyes are red and swollen. Her eyes are puffy from crying. Sylvia places a sword about a foot long on the table.
"This is Durandal, yeah... Sorry, I'm tired too... Sandra, can you explain it to me?"
"Got it. I'll take over the explanation."
Sandra opens her mouth, looking like she's been up all night.
"This sword is Durandal. I touched it a bit and found out it can greatly increase Wade's attack power. The special feature is that it can change shape."
"What do you mean by 'change shape'?"
In response to Clay's question, Sandra gently touches Durandal.
Then, Durandal starts to shrink before their eyes and transforms into a dagger. Ice has never heard of such a sword and is left staring in amazement.

Sandra held a dagger, and pressed the Durandal, which had turned into a sword, against it. The blades clashed, but without any force, slowly.
But even so, the dagger was cut like butter. Sandra's dagger let out a high-pitched metallic sound as it was cut.
Finally, with a small "ting" sound, the dagger was severed. The cut surface was extremely smooth.
"This sword is probably the world's highest level. It can be called a holy sword."
"Physically, it's become a sword that can't be beaten again... If Wade gets it, I think we can win against Fist of the Dragon..."
Gold's eyes shone brightly, despite his exhausted and battered face and body. But his determination was clear. This sword had a sparkle that made him believe.
Sandra touched Durandal and lightly dulled its edge.
"If we do it like this, it'll be easy to carry. So, as long as it can make contact with Wade, it's fine."
The atmosphere in the room was one of relief. And then, attention turned to Ice again.
"I think we should divide into 3 teams and deliver it."
Ice looked around at everyone's faces.
"First, Frain-kun and I will be the long-distance support team... I'll have everyone hold my snowmen and guide you... Frain-kun will provide cover fire and eliminate any threats."
"Hmm, that sounds reasonable."
Frain seemed satisfied with his relatively safe role.
"Clay-kun and Toxy-chan will be the decoy team... When the delivery team is in danger, you'll send a signal to the snowmen, and then you can go wild, giantize, or scatter poison, and cause chaos."
"That's exactly what a decoy team is for."
"Go all out and make a big mess, right? Ahaha, that sounds like fun!"

Ice looked down, embarrassed, and apologized, "Sorry..." Just then, a high-tension Kadras returned.

Toxy sat down, puffing out his chest. Kadras enthusiastically approached Frain, who looked annoyed.
"Of course, it's not just Kadras. We'll heal everyone who's injured as a precaution. And on top of that, we need your cooperation tonight."
Toxy said, replacing Ice. In that case, the battered Frain party couldn't help but prioritize practicality.
