Chapter 66 Heal The Mystery Poison In An Instant
I, Leaf Chemist, returned to the capital city.
The ones battling the mysterious monsters were members of Divine Gemstone, the group I belong to.
"Aerial-san! Long time no see!"
Tai-chan, flying through the air, landed on the ground.
There stood Aerial-san, an S-rank adventurer.
He looked tired, with a dry expression.
He had been struggling against that huge horde, so it's natural to be exhausted! But he's alright now!
"Long time no see, Leaf-kun. Thanks, you really helped us out."
"No problem! Oh, right. Treating the injured!"
"Well... there's a bit of a problem with that."
Aerial-san took me to a temporary tent near the city walls.
As we entered the tent guarded by members of Divine Gemstone...
"Ouch..." "Ow..." "It hurts... it really hurts..."
Many injured people were lying down. Everyone had a pained expression.

"It's really tough. Neither Antidote magic nor potions work."
"What?! Seriously?"
Aerial-san went over to an adventurer nearby.

I administer the finished medicine using the Divine Healer Staff.

As usual, Mercury-san was surprised.
"Alright!"

"A deal...?"
Aerial-san glares at the Wolf without letting his guard down.

"Your comrade is suffering from the death curse placed by my familiar."
"..."
"If you agree to make a deal with me, I'll lift the curse... What will you do? Hehe, you don't really have a choice. Listen, that curse is absolutely impossible to lift. Unless I do it~"
Aerial-san and Mercury-san look uneasy.
"Huh? What's with that weak reaction? Your friends might die, you know?"
"What should we do?" Aerial-san and Mercury-san are staring at each other, unsure of what to do.

"Eh, but they won't die?"

The Wolf lets out a cute, silly voice.
"Because I already lifted the curse with my medicine."
"Wait, what! You lifted it!?"
The Wolf's eyes widen, but then he shakes his head vigorously.
"Don't spout nonsense! Unless I die or choose not to lift it, the curse will never be broken..."
From the tent, adventurers start pouring out one after another, all looking lively.
Seeing this, the Wolf opens his mouth wide in surprise.
"Whoooa... everyone's healed...?"
"I told you, I lifted the curse."
"Lifting a curse from a demon!? Who do you think you are...!"
Even if you ask who I am... well, I'll respond.
"I'm Leaf. Just a pharmacist!"
The Wolf momentarily looks puzzled, then speaks in an irritated tone.
