Chapter 67 One Punch Even For Demon
Returning to the capital city, I encountered a strange guy called himself a demon.
He has been tormenting my guildmates with curses... he's a villain. I won't let him get away with it!

We're outside the walls of the capital city.
In front of me stands a big wolf walking on two legs, wearing a hood.
He's one of the demon nobles, a Baron-class Wolf.

The wolf claps his hands.
"Come forth, my strongest shadow army!"

Huh? Where are they?
"Don't you recognize them?"

"Yeah! These Shadow Wolves are my creation!"
"Um..."
"As long as I'm around, there will be an endless supply of shadow monsters."
"Um, excuse me."

The wolf claps his hands impatiently. But there's no sign of the supposed shadow army coming out at all.

"Leaf-kun, did you just throw that solidified protective incense pill?"
"Oh, um, yes. Just a moment ago. What's wrong?"
"As a result... Anti-monster barrier has been deployed in this area."
"Huh? A barrier?"
I don't remember making something like that, and it doesn't ring a bell.
"W-what!? Anti-monster barrier!? Isn't that one of the ancient lost magics!? When did this happen!?"

Then Eileen-san tilts her head in curiosity.
"Hey, Leaf-sama, haven't you always been deploying Anti-monster barrier?"

"That's the Anti-monster barrier."
"Huh!? Really!?"
I had no idea I was doing that...
Tai-chan nodded with admiration.

Wolf let out a disgusted sound.
"Anti-monster barrier is said to repel all malicious energy. It's natural that spells wouldn't work. It even repels the power of curses."

The Wolf embraced me tightly. Then, a black mist began to overflow from his body.
"Uh oh! That demon is casting spells on himself! By harboring curses within his body, he gains immense power but also goes berserk and attacks wildly!"
As explained by Mercury-san, the demon had cursed himself, causing his body to grow larger and more menacing.
"Ugh!" "Aaargh!" "This pressure is intense!" "I'm getting blown away!"
The curse emanating from him caused the guild members to float in the air. Tai-chan skillfully caught them, but it didn't resolve the root issue.

Meanwhile, Mercury-san and Aerial-san watch solemnly, staring at the demon I defeated.

"I don't know. But it might be related to recent events."
