Guild Master Henrietta saw through the enemy's plot.
Meanwhile, Leaf's buddy Mercury was sneaking underground with Demon Lord Vandesdelka.
"This place gives me the creeps..."
They are in a huge hole in the underground ruins.
From the surface, they're jumping down from there led to a damp, expansive space.
Though it was bare earth, it served as a passageway.
Since there was no map inside, Mercury and the others were completely lost.

Vandesdelka took out a knife from his pocket.
Mercury realized it was a cursed tool.
"What are you...?"
"I will use the magic I excel at the most."
"That knife... a cursed object. Moreover, it's quite high-ranking... used for summoning magic."
"As expected of Merlin-sama's granddaughter."
He looks like a Holy Maiden, but inside he is a demon lord.
He was attempting to use forbidden magic that humans cannot wield.
The Demon Lord cut his wrist, letting a large amount of blood fall to the ground.
With just a chant, it transformed into a magic circle.
"Answer my call... Stolas!"
"Stolas...? Th-That's...!"
"The 36th devil (akuma), ruler of wisdom! Come forth!"
From the blood magic circle emerged a black mist, forming into a single entity in this world.
A black owl, wearing a crown on its head.
"This is the magic passed down in my Demon Lord's bloodline... the [Devil Summoning Magic]."
"Devil Summoning Magic..."
Devils. Beings not of this world, strange creatures.
Not monsters, not demons, not gods, but irregular existences.
"To think the Demon Lord can summon such creatures... truly befitting of a Demon Lord..."
