Chapter 100 Don'T Underestimate The Guild Master
While Leaf is out on an investigation,
At the guild, Divine Gemstone.
Guild Master Henrietta was working on paperwork in her own room.
She has bluish-silver hair and golden eyes.
She is still a young woman.
Knock, knock.
"You may enter."
"Excuse me."
Entering Henrietta's room is the S-rank adventurer... Aerial.
"Oh, Aerial. ...Welcome back."
Henrietta gazes at Aerial for a moment, then smiles. Without mentioning that Leaf and Tai-chan are not present on either side, she gestures for Aerial to sit.
Aerial nods and takes a seat on the sofa.
"You've returned quite quickly. Well, let's have a chat over some tea."
Henrietta goes to the tea set. Aerial sits down but then stands up abruptly.
To make tea, pour magic power into a magic tool that creates hot water.
Unnoticed here, a faceless monster pretending to be Aerial... smirks.
Transforming a part of its body into a knife, and then...

"Argh!"
A knife is stuck in the abdomen. The one with widened eyes in surprise is...
"You underestimated me, monster."
Yes, it was the faceless monster pretending to be Aerial. An ice knife is embedded in the monster's abdomen.
Four ice knives fly towards the staggering Aerial. They swiftly pierce deep into her limbs.
"Did you think you could kill an inexperienced girl? You've underestimated the Guild Master of the S-Rank Guild quite a bit."
The fallen monster is looked down upon by golden eyes.
"My eyes can see the future."
"The future...?"
"Alright. These are the precious eyes inherited from my father. I could see the future where you, disguised as Aerial, would come to attack."
At that moment, Niina enters through the door.
"Guild Master!"
"Niina, this one is an enemy."
"What!? You were disguised as Aerial-san!?"
With a thud, wings of light sprout from Niina's back.
"Wait, Niina! Extract information from the enemy..."
"Disappear!"
Niina flaps her wings.
In the next moment, the faceless monster... vanished.
The enemy bathed in Niina's light turned into a mass of bird feathers.
Like ice in hot water, it melted into the air.
...Even though it should only be affected by the Leaf Chemist's disinfectant.
By Niina's emitted light, the enemy, along with its existence, was purified.
