Chapter 31 Defeating The Designated S-Class Monster
"Marianne-sensei!"
"Reisha! You're back!"
Reisha rushes to an elderly woman in the burning orphanage courtyard.
If I remember correctly, she's the director of the orphanage that Reisha gave the money to.
Marianne, the woman, holds a boy.
"Waaah! Reisha-oneechan!"
"Meek, you're safe."
"Yeah, Marianne-sensei helped me out..."
"What about the other kids, sensei――?"
"They're still inside..."
Director Marianne points to the burning orphanage.

Only three kids are left.
The place is smoky and super hot, making sweat evaporate quickly.
We have to find the kids fast before it's too late.
"Wait...! I'm coming too!"
When I look back at the voice, I see Reisha.
Her pretty red hair is a bit burnt, but she doesn't mind and rushes over.
She's just focused on saving the kids.
"Okay. Let the others handle the 2nd floor. Reisha, let's check the 1st floor."

We search each room and find something important.
"Oh, is that...?"
"Is this what caused the fire?"
In the back of the building, there were three crying kids facing a huge (Fire Monster).
――ROOOOAARRRR!!
The monster was giant, almost touching the ceiling, looking like a fiery wolf.
The difference is that it is wrapped in flames instead of fur.
"Is that (Flame Eater)?! Why is it in this place...!"
It eats fire and shoots it at enemies.
It's super dangerous and should not be fought alone, classified as an (A-rank) monster.
If this monster caused chaos, it explains the sudden fires.
But there were strange things too.
Even though Flame Eater is classified as A-class, I hadn't seen such a huge Flame Eater before.
Or rather, it's like an S-rank monster.
Also, there was one more mystery.
The Flame Eater is a monster found only in the volcanic region of Melbourne.
The place is far away from the royal capital of Ridale, and it's hard to imagine that a stray strayed there...
It's strange how such a huge monster got into this building.

Reisha shouted to the scared kids, showing her determination to protect them.
