Volume 5 Chapter 2 The Hero Party, Coming to Play II
In my room, Lawrence, Far East, 2 Hero Parties came to visit.
The room suddenly feels crowded.
Lawrence's group has 6 people.
Far East's party with Higami has 5.
That makes 11 in total.
Frederica brought a simple table and sofa.
Everyone sat down.
Ulgar, the spearman with silver hair, crossed his long legs and said,
"For the sofa to come out this fast, Guildmaster, did you KNOW we were coming?"
"Well, who knows?"
I sipped my tea, and Lawrence said with awe, "Wow..."
"As expected from Mr. Act! You really are AMAZING!"
"Hey, you guys worship this guy way too much, don't you...?"
Higami, the leader of Far East's party, a female swordswoman, said with a sigh.
"It's probably just a coincidence. He's grumpy and doesn't say much, so you're just imagining things."
"Hmph! I don't think so!"
"Excuse me!"
The door opened with a clack, and my apprentice, Yui, pushed in a cart.
"Sir Act! I brought lunch just like you SAID!"
On the cart, exactly 11 servings of lunch were prepared.
"See! Mr. Act KNEW we were coming and figured we'd be hungry, so he prepared lunch! How COOL is that?"
"Hah... well... but why are you so proud about this?"
Higami sighed, looking at the smiling Lawrence like he was crazy.
"Because! Mr. Act is my BENEFACTOR!"
I picked him up when he was a weak, useless kid, polished him, and sent him out into the world.
"So make sure you pay that back properly."
When I said that, Lawrence nodded very happily.
"Of course!"
"Sir Lawrence! Please start eating lunch FIRST."
"Thank you! Yui! Everyone, let's EAT!"
"""Woo-hoo!"""
Lawrence and the others are eating our Guild's special sandwiches with big bites.
"Delicious! DELICIOUS! Sooooooo tasty!"
"Hey, Lawrence, don't talk with your mouth full."
Ulgar frowned, looking annoyed.
"Mr. Act's lunch is really yummy. Just like Mr. Act's STYLE!"
"No, Eli, it's not Act who's amazing, it's the person who made it..."
Seeing Eli's eyes shine, Higami sighed.
"But the one who thought of it is the COOLEST."
"That's true."
Luna and Mida nodded, saying "Yeah, yeah."
Higami watched and sighed deeply.
"You guys should rename from Lawrence's Party to Sir Act Fan Club."

"I'm joking, of course!? Are you all STUPID or what!?"
"Oh, such a sensible opinion~"
Next to me, Vivre, the demon, is chewing loudly on a sandwich.
"What are you DOING?"
"Ah, uh... Since the Guildmaster wasn't eating the sandwich, I thought maybe you didn't want it, so I ate it! Just one more bite..."
Thud...!
An ice knife stuck into the table.
"Eeeeek!"
"...That belongs to the MASTER."
Frederica fixed Vivre with a freezing glare.
The knife missed Vivre's hand by only a few centimeters.
"What do you think you're doing eating that on your own? Is that a death wish? Shall I interpret it that way?"
"Sorry, my life is still VALUABLE──eeeeeelp Sir Act!"

Vivre trembled and hid behind me.
"Noisy. Be QUIET. We're eating."
"Hey! Did you hear that, Lady Vivre? The Master is EATING! Move away from there!"
"You keep quiet too, Frederica."
"Y-yes..."
Hmph, the dog (Frederica) and the carriage (Vivre) are down.
Higami looks at them and says, "Oh my..."
"The legendary monster Fenrir, and even the evil god of the Great Hero weapon, are members of Sir Act's fan club... This is CRAZY..."
Soon, the heroes finish eating.
While drinking tea after the meal, Lawrence says:
"Mr. Act, we came to REPORT today!"
"Ho, what is the report?"
Lawrence looks at me directly... and says:
"We will finally CHALLENGE the Demon King in the FINAL BATTLE!"
