"What's this [Magic circle magic] thing?"
Michio returned to the mansion, had the maid dust him off, and went back to his room.
He sat on the bed with his back to the wall and checked his status board.
'First, the [Magic circle magic]. Usually, when you touch the status board, a description should pop up, right?'
Michio touched the [Magic circle magic] text on the status board to see if his guess was right.
"Swoosh"
His finger passed right through the status board.
'Oh dear, this status board seems to be a look-don't-touch type. Maybe I should "say it out loud"?'
"[Magic circle magic] explain?"
'Nothing's happening, and it's not showing up... I guess not.'
'Hmmm, should I try harder? If so, it should show up when I say it out loud. Hmmm...'
Michio pondered over the status board for a while, keeping it displayed.
He scanned every corner of the status board.
"Huh? Is this an icon?"
In the top right corner of the status board, there was a familiar white arrow mark.
"I found something that looks right, but how do I move it?"
When he moved his gaze to the [Magic circle magic] text, the icon moved.
He continued moving his gaze up, down, right, left, and the icon followed.
"This seems like it'll be a pain to get used to... Maybe I'll ask the church for an improvement idea."
He moved his gaze to [Magic circle magic] again and imagined clicking, and a new screen opened.

[Magic Circle Magic]
- At level 1, you can break down weak magic (1 level lower) into magic circles.
- You can write magic circles onto scrolls, magic stones, and other items.
- To analyze magic into a circle, you need the skill Analysis.
- To write it down, you need 10 times the MP the magic normally costs.
- To use the written magic, it costs 3 times the MP.
- You can increase the number of uses by spending more MP (equal to the inscribed MP × number of uses).
Level 1 abilities:
- Make magic ink
- Create magic circles
- Copy existing circles

"What the heck?! This [skill] is so useless! Where the hell do I even get the prerequisite [Analysis] skill? And it eats up so much MP, who is this skill even for? Is this a dud? At Lv.1, I can't do anything at all."
"Next, let's check [Earth magic]. Hope it's better..."

[Earth Magic]
- Requirement: Mana Control skill
- Allows you to use earth-element spells.
Bonus Effect:
- If you cast Earth magic near soil or sand, MP cost is reduced by 10%.
Level 1 Spells:
- Stone Bullet:
- Fires Lv × 5 stones at a target.
- MP Cost: 10
- Stone:
- Creates a 100×100×100mm stone block.
- MP Cost: 10
- Hole:
- Digs a hole in the ground (1000mm wide, 100mm deep).
- MP Cost: 10

[Healing Magic]
- Requires: Mana Control skill
- Range: Can cast magic up to Lv × 1 meter
Level 1 Spell:
- Heal:
- Restores 15 HP to one target.
- Note: Cannot heal missing limbs or heavy blood loss.
- MP Cost: 10

"Next up, the [Unlimited magic power] skill, I guess."
