Volume 5 Chapter 1 Prologue： Sword Fight
In the Kingdom of Saint Ruvous, the largest country on the continent, there are several cities called metropolises.
But if you ask which is the most representative, most people would name 3.
One is the heart of politics, where the king sits, the majestic royal capital with its white marble castle towering.
Another is the headquarters of the largest religion on the continent, the Holy Church, the sacred tourist city of Benetonash, where Saint Stella resides.
And the last one... There is a city that can be called the heart of the nation, tirelessly supporting the lives of its vast territory and numerous people.
The trading city of Shaura, with its well-maintained highways extending to every corner of the Kingdom, and a calm inland sea suitable for trade.
And this city has another face.

"──Hah"
A deep sigh echoes in the dimly lit corridor.
This is inside a certain building in the trading city of Shaura.
The owner of the deep sigh is a woman.
In her mid-twenties, tall, with distinctive red hair tied back in a single tail.
She is Rize Howell.
A glorious Purge Knight of the Holy Church, seated in the 8th rank of its order.
"Ah, I'm sorry, Dad and Mom"
She utters an apology to her parents in a soliloquy, as if in confession.
"Hah, why did it have to come to this"
Another sigh escapes from Rize's lips.
As she does, the door in front of her *slowly opens*.
As it does, the sunlight streaming in from outside illuminates her figure──clad in a revealing outfit, holding a simple spear and a well-worn small shield.
With a thoroughly reluctant demeanor, she steps forward and exits through the door, to the sound of many cheers.
And when she steps down, she finds herself in a circular colosseum, with a pair of lions staring hungrily at Rize with gleaming eyes.
She must look quite tasty to them, she thinks reluctantly, and resolves to fight, readying her shield.
Trading City, Shaura.
The kingdom's center for trade and the largest entertainment city.
And what is the greatest entertainment of all?
It's the gladiator battles in the Colosseum.
"Seriously, how did it come to this?!"
Purge Knight Rize Howell reluctantly found herself hiding her identity to take part in the gladiator match.
