"So, what do you do at the Holy Spring of Tears?"
Rai said this while looking at the spring with Saria.
She didn't understand him at first.
"Um, you just look at it?"
"Just look?"
"You look and say, 'Wow, it's blue! Isn't it strange? It must be lucky! Thank you!'"
"Really!?"
Saria thought this was obvious, but Rai was shocked by her words.
"So, there's almost no benefit?"
Hearing Rai's response made Saria feel dizzy.
She worried about how this serious boy had lived before.
Still, she wanted to help him, to see him smile.
"I... kinda like you now."
"Saria?"
"Oh, uh, it's nothing!"
Saria waved her hands and shook her head, trying to change the subject.
She was relieved that Rai didn't hear what she said and tried to cool her blushing cheeks with her hands.
"Um, so, let's go to the next place, okay? Come on, Rai!"
She spoke cheerfully to hide her red face and tried to leave the spring.
But the crowd around the spring was bigger than before.
"Uh-oh!"
The small Saria felt herself being swept away by the crowd.
"Saria."
Rai firmly took her hand.
Saria was surprised and stared at him blankly.
"It's dangerous, so let's hold hands for a bit."
Rai felt a sense of duty after hearing Noah's story and didn't want to take his eyes off her.
He acted without thinking about how it looked, which made Saria see him as a confident, manly figure.
"I-I see..."
She gave a weak answer.
