The Reincarnator (monster) was facing a foe who was on par with, or even stronger than, him for the first time, and he was using his cheat (special ability).

That's why he forced himself to remain calm as he faced the Purge Knight before him.
Calmly, calmly... he *regenerated* his severed leg.
"Oh? So that's the kind of cheat (special ability) it is, huh?"
A body with inhuman specs, and the ability to instantly heal any damage.
She was impressed by how simple, yet effective, his cheat (special ability) was.
"I wonder if Saint knew and sent me here on purpose?"
Leone tilted her head, looking cute as she said it.
However, she showed no signs of panic or agitation after seeing the monster's cheat (special ability) for the first time.
Why was that?
"You're really *my kind* of Reincarnator!!"
She swung the axe in her right hand, which she had just pulled out, and threw it with all her might.
The axe was aimed at the monster's forehead, but he timed it perfectly and knocked it away with a swing of his arm.
And then, as he turned his gaze back to Leone, intending to pursue her now that she was down one weapon... she was gone.
The real purpose of Leone's throw was to distract him.
Humans can't help but look at a projectile coming at them; they're forced to watch.
Using that instinct, she created a blind spot on purpose, slipped through it, and closed the distance.
Then, with a horizontal swing of her left-hand axe, she sliced open the monster's side, gutting him.
"AAAAAAAGGHHH!!"
A scream echoed out.
The pain from the bone and flesh was different from the pain of the internal organs, even though it was still pain.
The monster, with his regeneration ability, was used to reckless fighting and the pain of losing limbs, but he wasn't used to the pain from his insides.
Leone took advantage of the monster's flinch and unleashed a flurry of axe strikes.
Wounds appeared and healed, and the pain continued.
──To the limits of his regenerative ability.
The title of Purge Knight ranked 4th, Leone Godwin, is "The Fastest."
But it doesn't just refer to her attack speed.
It originates from her unparalleled annihilation speed, which surpasses that of all other Purge Knights.
In the midst of excruciating pain, a monster swing its arms wildly, trying to swat Leone away, but she deftly dodges and unleashes another strike.
In that chaotic moment, it was pure chance that its clumsy swing caught Leone.
"Ugh!"
The hit sent Leone flying like a leaf, despite managing to roll into a defensive position, and she collided right into a heap of trash.
As she surfaced from the wreckage of the garbage pile, she immediately shouted,
"Stinks!!"
In the makeshift space that had formed among the trash, something rotten was apparently decomposing, producing a horrendous stench.
Caught off guard, her face twisted in disgust, and the monster took that chance to strike again.
As if seeking revenge for earlier, it picked up the axe she had thrown and hurled it back at her.
"Don't underestimate me!"
Leone deflected the axe, sent soaring through the air, with her hand axe, diverting its trajectory.
The clash of the metal axes sparked brilliantly.
──Right by the source of the foul stench.
"──Ah, no way!"
Just as Leone sensed something bad was about to happen──
Flames erupted from the garbage pile, piercing through the night's darkness.
