Volume 3 Chapter 47 The Moves Were Made Long Ago
We arrived in the town of Zaat, which is the closest to Sartzstadt, but there are no signs of Emerada or the Dark Mages yet.

Minori rubbed her cheek and puffed her cheeks at the 'teacher' who said that, letting go of her hand suddenly.
"Well then, we've been pinched for nothing!"
"'Teacher', that's cruel."
"It's true that you were late, right? So, what did you need? Is Ryuuji back?"

They stopped in front of it, looking puzzled.
There were large rocks scattered around, making their presence known, but Ryuuji's figure, which should stand out because of its size, was nowhere to be seen.
"I can't see Ryuuji, who should be easy to spot because he's big..."

The 3 people looked around curiously, but there was no sign of anyone anywhere.
Since Ryuuji's body is unusually large, he should be found unless he is hiding on purpose.
"'Teacher', can you hear anything? Do you know where Big Bro Ryuuji is?"

At Minori's request, 'Teacher' placed a hand behind her long ears and closed her eyes.
Because she is an elf, she is extra sensitive to sounds.
After confirming that her mentor had closed his eyes, Minori exchanged glances with Suzu and nodded to each other.
And then──in an instant, she drew the two Magic Swords, <Pierce> and <Resist>, that were behind her back and approached her 'Teacher'──Emerada.
