If there are no clear materials to stoke the inheritance rights struggle, Ragnar's personality would likely wait more securely for the kingdom to weaken further.
That's why he stirred things up using inheritance rights as a shield, leading up to this point.
He never expected that one of his strategies would be thwarted here.
If things go badly, it might make the cautious Ragnar hesitate, but the exposure of the failed plan was actually a good thing.
The flashy mansion is overflowing with water.
It was fortunate that it got into the newspapers, and due to its weirdness and location, a sharp government high-ranking bureaucrat quickly suspected the teleportation gate.
There's no way Ragnar wouldn't use that as an excuse to blame Leonius.
The result of that is what happened today.

Leonius mutters, thinking that Ragnar has noticed he deliberately stepped back.
But even so, that's not a problem.
If he completely grasps the military and gains almost all the support from the members of parliament, for Ragnar, this battle is unavoidable.
If he starts suggesting caution here, he would fall from his current position in an instant.
Therefore, even if he leaves things alone, they will fight in the end.

Having control over the main teleportation gate was one of Leonius's advantages over Ragnar.

Letting out a sigh, Leonius took a pen from the desk and wrote a few short letters.
Each one was addressed to his subordinates spread across various places.

While Leonius was giving instructions to his subordinates, Ragnar was being flattered by important politicians in his private room.
Everyone was saying that Ragnar would be the next Emperor, but Ragnar just smiled and said "Thank you," without saying much more.
Still, he nodded along with their flattery, making them feel good throughout the whole conversation.
After being praised so much, and once the politicians were finally satisfied and left the room, Ragnar let out a big sigh.
"Those cancers that infest the country. If I become Emperor, all of you will be targets for purging."
Ragnar snorted as he banged the bell on his desk loudly.
When the old man appeared quietly from the sound, Ragnar said, "I will be leaving the capital for a bit," as he took off his clothes and tossed them roughly onto the sofa.
"How far will we go?"
"South. To the northeastern part of the Kingdom, to the Duke's territory... well, it's just a precaution."
While saying that, Ragnar entered the next dressing room and quickly grabbed a few clothes that looked like travel gear.
"Is the investigation into the mysterious incident good to go?"
"I don't mind. We won't be able to use the ruined gates that sank to the bottom anyway. A teleportation gate that cannot be used is pointless."
Ragnar, snickering, muttered, "The teleportation gate only has value if it can be used."
The old man understood the situation from just that, bowing respectfully and saying, "Understood."
"Who should we use as a double?"
"I'll leave that to you. Leo probably won't get involved anymore."
Ragnar, grinning, turned back to the old man while resting his foot on the window frame and said, "I confirmed that with today's reaction."
"That one has no interest in the right of succession. But... since I've been dragged into this much, I can't back down now."
Fully aware of Leonius's thoughts, Ragnar continued, knowing that Leonius would probably also know that Ragnar understood him.
"So I'll go along with his ideas sometimes. But in the end, I'll be the one laughing."
After saying just that, Ragnar jumped out of the window stylishly.

"All right. All right!"
Randy's commanding shout is leading the salvage operation of the sunken teleportation gate in the Great River Reel.
The wires that were tied to the chains when it sank are being pulled up by the seamen using pulley cranes on 2 ships.
"Okay... Stop. Ship number one, pull a bit more..."
Under Randy's command, the teleportation gate is gradually pulled up and finally appears on the water's surface.
"Stop pulling! It's going to get heavy from here, so be careful!"
""Alright!""
The teleportation gate is being lifted up slowly.
The huge stone structure peeks out from the water's surface, rising bit by bit.
Water droplets dripping from the fully lifted teleportation gate glisten in the sunlight.
"Alright. Then, let's receive it."
The command ship Randy is on slowly moves between the two ships, and the gate is gently lowered onto the ship.
"If we can figure this out, I'd like to place it in various locations."
"Yeah. First is Braubelg."
Without Ragnar and Leonius knowing, the "useless" teleportation gate is about to be magically modified to become usable very soon.
