What happened!?
Why did you suddenly collapse and cough up blood!?

"Senior Rai, pardon my intrusion"
The gentle sunlight poured in through the clean hospital room.
Entering was Rize, a red-haired girl with her right arm in a bandage sling.
"Ah, I'm glad you made it"
Sitting on the bed in that hospital room was──Purge Knight Rai Conwell.
He had sustained serious injuries on a recent mission but had miraculously survived.
"I'm just relieved you're alive. I was really scared you wouldn't pull through with that amount of blood loss."
"I'm sorry. However, you made a sound judgment in that situation. You saved me."
With that, Rai gave a small smile.
Seeing that tiny smile, Rize felt a wave of relief wash over her.
Then, Rai quietly wiped the smile away and asked in a serious tone.
"So, what happened after that?"
"Well, about that──"
She then recounted the events of the incident.
In place of the injured Rai, Purge Knight Leone entered the town with the Holy Knights and conducted a search for the Reincarnator and the dragon, but ultimately had no leads.
After further investigation, they discovered supplies for 2 people in an underground makeshift dwelling, indicating that the Reincarnator responsible for this incident was likely part of a duo.
Additionally, Leone remained stationed with the Holy Knights just in case, but there had been no recurrence of the incident, and it seemed they had completely escaped.
After hearing the report, Rai fell into a deep silence to think.
Watching him, Rize recalled something.
"Ah, and another strange thing. Senior Rai, though you sustained serious injuries, your armor didn't have any damage or scratches."
"──Wait a minute"
Upon hearing that, Rai's eyes widened in disbelief.
In Rai's memory, he had been struck with enough force to reshape his armor by the Reincarnator who called himself the Dragon King.
In reality, his body has sustained its fair share of injuries.
Yet, the armor remains unscathed, which puzzles Rai.
"It's true, there were minor scratches, but no significant damage. ────So, the cause of the senior's injury is still unclear."
"Some unknown cheat (special ability)?"
Having concluded the cause, Rai looks up at the sky, seemingly troubled.
He must figure out the nature of this cheat (special ability) and a countermeasure before meeting the Dragon King again.
But what he saw was not the sky, but the plain ceiling of the hospital room, which slightly deflated Rai's spirit.
