He roared at the absurd situation attacking him, at the boy knight before him, the embodiment of injustice.
"I was just getting started!! That damn parent, those shitty classmates, this filthy society──none of it matters! I'm going to start over from nothing here!!"
That scream gradually turned into a voice filled with tears.
"I was supposed to be able to live freely this time! Without being ordered around, without being ridiculed, without suffering!! Why are you getting in my way!!"
"──That's obvious."
Rai put even more strength into it.
Rai, who had trained diligently, and a boy who had relied solely on his natural talent.
The difference in their strength was far too obvious.
"Who will be sacrificed for your freedom! Who will suffer for your desires! Who has to cry for your shallow ideals!!"
The tip of the blade scrapes against Kazuma's neck.
Kazuma's hand, gripping the blade, slips on his own blood.

Finally, putting all his strength into it, Rai pushes his sword in.
The blade was sucked into Kazuma's throat, and soon he was dead.

She had quickly taken down the artificial creature earlier and observed the whole situation from the shadows.

Leone, smiling broadly, runs towards Rai with that smile still on her face.
And then she tells him this.
"Congratulations, Rai. You get a perfect score from me! You passed!"
Rai received the report in a daze.
