I'm starting to explain to Master Raikou and Shuu-sensei.
── I received a letter from Tougen Shimei, the advisor of the Jinkyo Tribe.
── He has begun an investigation into the so-called "Golden Feather Syndicate."

Shuu-sensei continued Master Raikou's line of thought.

"I agree with my senior disciple."
"Perhaps there's a lead on the 'Golden Feather Syndicate' in Kiryou's town. And for us, the 'Golden Feather Syndicate' is an enemy."
The 'Golden Feather Syndicate' was connected to Bakkai.

"Let's request an audience with His Highness the King's younger brother immediately."
Master Raikou said.
"I'll handle the report. Yokumai and Tenhou, prepare for the investigation."

"Tenhou and Kaou, that's fine too."
"Yes, Master." "Got it! Master!"
Shouou and I clasped our hands in a Kyōshu gesture towards Master Raikou.
Then I looked towards Master Raikou,
"If necessary, I can mention the secret letter to His Highness the King's younger brother."
"No, you should keep your connection with Jinkyo Tribe's advisor a secret."
"Is that because people will think I'm on Jinkyo Tribe's side?"
"No, it's not that. It's for a rainy day."
Master Raikou shook her head.
"You never know what might happen next. It's better to have a trump card up your sleeve."
"So, that means... Aika Country isn't united, right?"
"Yeah. You're really perceptive."
With a knowing smile, Master Raikou said that.
I have a pretty good idea what my master is getting at.
'Kiryou' is a town in Aika Country, and 'Moukou' is a relative of Ryougen.
There must be officials and high-ranking bureaucrats in Aika Country who are close to Moukou.
There's a chance they could pass information to Moukou.
That's why it's best to keep my connection with Jinkyo Tribe hidden.
It could be a trump card if things ever get tough...
"Actually, Yokumai and I would like to take charge of investigating Kiryou..."
Master Raikou suddenly said that.
"...But even so, Tenhou and Kaou wouldn't agree to it, would they?"
"Yes! Master Raikou!"
