Jamael controlled the giant and unleashed a barrage of attacks.

The moment the giant's attack struck, its arm twisted.
This barrier too was infused with infinite energy.
The instant the void giant's arm made contact, I sent in infinite energy, and it exploded just like before.
"Jamael... do you feel any remorse?"
He is undeniably a villain.
But... people can start over.
It takes a long time, but they can rebuild.
As long as we are human, can communicate, and share this life...
'It's futile, Zeke! I will never forgive you! As long as I live, I will exact vengeance on you again and again...!'

I lifted one arm.

I concentrated the power of those who believed in me into my right hand.

The massive golden sphere recalled the sun.
I slowly closed my fist.
Then, the gigantic sun condensed into a small, solid form, fitting perfectly in the palm of my hand.
I pulled my hand back, preparing for the final strike.
'DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!'
Jamael launched an attack, commanding the giant.
I thrust my hand forward toward his fist.
"Ultimate Technique... [Event Horizon]"
In an instant, the giant's body that touched my hand turned into a soap bubble.
It truly was a split-second event.
'W-What? Zeke... what did you just do?'
"I concentrated life energy and flooded it directly into Jamael."
'? What happens if you do that...?'
"I sent him off to the endless, infinite void."
'? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?'
Haku looked puzzled...
I wasn't sure how to explain it either, but...
"It's as if I sent him to another dimension. By creating another universe filled with infinite life energy, I sent Jamael there, imbued with boundless energy."
'W-What? You created a universe!? With infinite energy!? I don't understand at all!'
I guess that makes sense.
Even I didn't quite understand what I was doing.
I just thought that killing Jamael outright wouldn't have any meaning.
"I believed Jamael needed time to reflect. So I prepared another universe for him, ensuring that he couldn't die. I wanted him to repeat life and death infinitely, and hopefully realize his own mistakes. If he can manage that, I thought I could bring him back from the infinite cosmos."
'I see... so you didn't actually kill him.'
"Yeah. I felt that just killing him and calling it done felt... wrong."
'What about Makhen?'
"He was already dead."
Plus, in my battle against the resurrected Makhen, I realized that killing with divine power was not the right way to go.
In that sense, I owe Makhen a debt of gratitude.
"Well then... it looks like we've wrapped things up for now. Let's head back, Haku."

As I returned to the ground, Chippy and Cino welcomed me.
The two hugged me tight and embraced me from the front.
Ah... I could finally return to the people I hold dear.
As the fusion with Haku dissipated, I squeezed both of them tightly and smiled.
"I'm home!"
