The final battle against Jamael had begun.
Jamael controlled a massive, pitch-black giant standing over ten meters tall.
'Behold the all-consuming power of the void!'
"The power of the void...?"
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...
Our bodies were being pulled toward the giant. Slowly...
Rumbleeeeee!
With a tremendous force, we were almost yanked toward the giant.
We took a step back from the giant.
"What in the world is that...?"
"Brother. It seems that objects are being attracted by that giant's power."
"Objects... are being attracted...?"
Upon closer observation... I see.
Trees and the ground itself were being sucked towards the giant.
As the giant consumed these objects, it gradually grew larger.
"That giant must possess qualities similar to a black hole. Anything that gets too close will be swallowed and absorbed into its body."
I didn't quite understand what a black hole was, but...
the thing is, if we left it be, not only would we be consumed, but everything on this land would be absorbed by that giant.
"W-What do we do, Cino?!"
Chippy, with wings granted by Sia, exclaimed in a panic.
"A power that consumes everything... We can't get close! Plus, it nullifies Zeke's Hand of God! Isn't the enemy invincible?!"
"Not necessarily. It merely has black hole-like properties. If we destroy the brain controlling that giant, it will stop."
The brain of the giant... so we just need to defeat Jamael, who controls it.
"So, how do we defeat that Jamael?! We can't even approach, and attacks from a distance are just swallowed up!?"
And if we let it go, it would continuously absorb objects and grow...
It might even swallow our planet whole...
"B-But don't worry!"
When I said that, Chippy looked at me incredulously.
"Don't worry... Do you have a plan?"
"No!"
"I thought so..."
"But somehow, we can manage! If we all work together!"
The enemy is incredibly strong and wielding terrifying power.
There's no denying we're in a pinch... but.
I have many comrades by my side.
With them around, I feel like we'll somehow manage.
"Zeke is still so carefree as always..."
"But everyone has been drawn to that side of you, big brother, and that's how we've come this far."
"Well, that's true."
Chippy and Cino exchange smiles.
That's right, we'll find a way!
And then, it happened.
'Preparation is complete.'
"Haku?"
The Divine Beast King's princess, Haku, who had been perched on my head all this time, murmured.
