Volume 5 Chapter 21
Chippy is fighting against the attacking Makhen.
Crack!
Thud!
"Damn it! That black armor is so disgusting!"
Chippy mainly attacks with strikes and kicks.
Despite trying to land a hit, the black armor keeps blocking the attacks.
Furthermore, as Chippy tries to attack, the armor shifts and concentrates at the point of impact.
And then, after blocking the attack, it returns to its original position.
"How about that? This is my [liquid metal] armor!"
"Liquid metal... you say?"
"Yeah. This armor is a fluid. It can change its shape as expected. Just like this!"
Makhen reaches out.
The armor on his arm transforms into a black sword.
Thwack!
As Makhen approaches, he attacks with the sword.
Chippy barely jumps to dodge it.
However, the belly of the sword extends like a spear and grazes Chippy's thigh.
"Ugh!"
Chippy flips in the air and lands.
The wound on her thigh is quite deep.
"What the hell... my attacks aren't working... and the opponent is launching ever-changing attacks... this is too troublesome."
"Gwahahaha! How about that, lizard girl? Have you decided to let me kill you peacefully?"
...Let me be killed peacefully, huh?
"Don't be ridiculous."
Crack... crack... as Chippy's body transforms.
While maintaining a human form, dragon scales cluster on his hands and feet.
"Dragon transformation... no, that's not it. The body size remains the same, but maybe only the dragon's power is being condensed and manifested...?"
Wrapped in dragon armor, Chippy stands there.
"I can't die! I have... a promise with Zeke!"
