Volume 4 Chapter 33 Hyper Purification
After returning the dwarves to the surface, we continue our exploration.
Our goal is to find the swamp creature that devoured Ena's father.
"Zeke, what are we going to do now?"
"There's a poisonous swamp up ahead. Let's head upstream."
We make our way up the purified river.
"The toxic mist is getting thicker."
"If it weren't for you, I'd be dead by now. You're really amazing, brother."
As we head upstream, we eventually arrive at an open area.
"Ugh... this is terrible."
"It's completely a swamp."
The swamp stretches endlessly, filled with a toxic hue.
The air is completely polluted with the toxic mist, and without the barrier of the Right Hand of Divine Magic, we wouldn't be able to survive here.
"......"
"Don't worry, Ena. I'll handle it."
"Okay..."
"So, what now?"
"For now, let's try to purify it."
We don't know where the swamp creature is, but if the swamp gets purified, it might react in some way.
"B-but... even with Mr. Zeke, purifying this vast swamp is... a bit too much..."
Chippy and Cino shake their heads vigorously.
"You're being too naive. Just let my brother handle it."
"[Heal]"
Whoosh...!
The swamp turned into a beautiful lake in an instant.
"Whoa!"
Ena suddenly squats down at the spot.
"Th-this is beyond anything..."
"Well, if it's Zeke, this is nothing. It's only natural for my brother to do this."
I pull back from the swamp... no, the lake.
"Alright, everyone back away."
The surface of the lake starts to swell, and something begins to emerge from the bottom.
"I'll take care of this."
