Volume 4 Chapter 22 Too Strong, It's Dangerous
I took down the monster known as the Black Beast that came out of the huge hole.
"I... I can't believe it... You took down that Black Beast in one hit... Who the hell are you?!"
All around the town, people are staring.
Ena's uncle shuffles over, pale and wide-eyed.
"Just a beast veterinarian."
"No, no, no! That makes it even weirder! Why is a doctor that strong?!"
"It's true."
I shrug.
"Brother. More incoming."
"We'll handle them. You focus on the wounded."
Thump... Thump...
Chippy and Cino stroll toward the next group of Black Beasts like they're out for a walk.
"Wait! You're letting those cute girls deal with them?!"
"It's fine. Look."
Cino waves her hand. The incoming Black Beasts freeze solid.
She hums while doing it.
"Got 'em!"
Chippy punches the ground.
The shockwave rips through the frozen beasts, turning them into monster confetti.
"......"
Ignoring the two dwarves frozen in shock, I get back to work.
"[Heal]."
In a flash, the damaged town and its fallen people are good as new.

Now all the dwarves are staring at me with their mouths hanging open like stunned carp.
"I was the one who took them down. Did you see that, Zeke?"
Chippy puffs up her chest proudly.
"It was because of me, brother."
Cino gives me a smug little nod.
"...It was both of you."
I pat their heads.
They both light up.
""Hehehe♡""
Now that the commotion's mostly over...
"Hey... what's up with you guys?"
I glance at the dwarves, still stuck staring like their brains have blue-screened.
"What... are you people...?"
"I told you. Just a beast veterinarian."
I gesture to Chippy.
"And his 'sister.'"
Cino tilts her head.
"And her pet."
"""DON'T MESS WITH USSSSSS!!!"""
