We stepped into the dwarf's town.
It was bustling.
Merchants and adventurers were coming and going, all eager to buy the dwarves' high-quality magic items and weapons.
I asked Ena to guide us to her house.
"It's quite a grand house, isn't it?"
"My father was a renowned blacksmith, so..."
Ena's face darkened.
I gently stroked her head.
"Sorry."
"No, it's over now. I've let it go..."
She sniffled. "Thank you for comforting me..."
We entered the house.
The blacksmith's place was filled with weapons, each one magnificent.
"I'll make some tea."
"That's unnecessary."
Cino waved her staff.
Warm coffee mugs appeared in our hands.
"Wh-What's happening!?"
"It's space magic. I took it out of storage."
"Wow..."
We sipped our coffee.
"So..."
"When we were riding in the carriage, I heard about your father going into the Great Hole and never coming back."
"Yes. The Great Hole is inside the mine. My companions were swallowed by a cave-in... My father went to save them. But..."
"He didn't come back."
Ena's eyes filled with tears.
"Father..."
I couldn't just stand by.
"Ena, could you guide us to the mine where the Great Hole is?"
"Eh...? Why?"
"I'll save everyone."
