The ones that attacked our ship?
A horde of Krakens.
But before I could do anything... they all collapsed.

I scratched my head. "Huh. That's weird."
"Oh well. [Heal]."
I raised my hand and restored the Krakens' vitality.
"WHY ARE YOU HEALING THE KRAKENS!?"
The rescued people screamed at me like I was the crazy one here.
I tilted my head. "Eh? I mean, I'm a beast veterinarian. I can't just ignore an injured magic beast."
"WHO CARES!? What are you gonna do if they attack again!? LOOK!"
The Krakens got back up.
Their eyes were glowing red.
They were filled with pure, murderous rage.
"Ah. That's not good."
So I raised my hand again. "[Dispel]."
In an instant, the glow disappeared, and the Krakens' eyes returned to normal.
"...Huh? They stopped attacking...?"
The rescuers looked like they had just witnessed the laws of reality break in front of them.
Meanwhile, the Krakens started bowing to me.
Like, repeatedly.
"...Are they... apologizing?"
Since they weren't very bright, they couldn't talk.
So I thought, "Why not help them out?"
"Alright then, [Evolve]."
A divine light shone down on the Krakens.
They quivered, their forms glowing with newfound strength.

'Excuse us. We attacked you suddenly.'

The rescued people screamed so hard I thought their souls were about to leave their bodies.
Ignoring them, I patted the Kraken on the head.
"We can talk about the details later. First, let's fix the ship. [Repair]."
WHOOSH.
The ship, which had been completely annihilated, suddenly reassembled itself like a LEGO set on steroids.
The rescued people:

"Well, the Krakens didn't mean any harm, so let's forgive them—huh? What's wrong with everyone?"
Everyone was still frozen in shock.
Cino, meanwhile, just nodded, unfazed.
"As expected of my brother. Solving problems instantly like always. Amazing."
Chippy sighed. "We're used to it, but these people aren't, huh?"

This is totally normal back home in the Demon Lord's country, but for outsiders...

One of the rescued people finally spoke up, shaking like a leaf.
"A-aah... y-you... W-WHAT ON EARTH DID YOU JUST DO!?"
I blinked. "Um... it's all the power of [Healing]."
