Ruzzel, transformed into a monstrous poison dragon, was hurled through the sky.
'Ugh... gugh... whoooooa!'
His body was gone.
But his grudge remained.
The Demon Lord's hatred for Zeke was too strong to vanish. His lingering will twisted into a curse, clinging to Zeke like a parasite.
'Zeke! I"ll curse you to death!'
With sheer resentment, he tried to take over Zeke's consciousness—
But Zeke's right hand shot forward.
And grasped his very soul.
'W-What!? No way! You grabbed my soul... physically?!'
Zeke's lips curled. "My right hand is special."
The Right Hand of Divine Magic acts upon all things.
Matter, energy, even souls—nothing is beyond its grasp.
'Wha... what a grotesque hand... that"s... the power of a god...'
Ruzzel trembled.
He had fought with everything.
His ultimate technique.
His very body.
Even his hatred, weaponized into a deadly curse.
None of it worked.
He understood now.
The being before him—Zeke—was beyond this world's logic.
"Now then... shall I bring the curtain down?"
'Ugh—gyaaaaah!'
The scream tore from him before he could stop it.
'No! I don't want to! Noooooo!'
He knew.
Zeke's hand could erase even deadly poison itself.
And he... was nothing but a soul now.
'Help meee! I'm begging you! Please, help me!'
Zeke looked down at him. Cold. Unmoved.
"How many begged for their lives like this—before you killed them?"
'Ugh—waaaahhh! No! I don't want to dieeeee!'
Zeke tightened his grip.
"Goodbye, Ruzzel."
'Higyaaaaaaaahhh!'
A burst of holy light.
The Right Hand of Divine Magic activated, purging the twisted soul.
No body. No soul.
Nothing remained.
Ruzzel was gone.
