Volume 3 Chapter 36 The Difference in Status as a Demon Lord
Ruzzel staggered back, his right hand snapping up. Magic surged.
Four glowing circles flared to life beneath my feet.
From their depths, chains shot out—twisting, coiling, locking tight around my limbs.
"Take this! Ultimate Sealing Magic—[Unlimited Prison]!"
The chains pulsed with power.
Color drained from the world. Time itself seemed to freeze around me.
"This is the strongest sealing technique! Your internal time has been halted! You'll never break free on your own!"
Snap.
I gripped the chains.
And tore them apart.
"Wh—what!?" Ruzzel's voice cracked. "No way!?"
His face contorted in panic as he stumbled backward.
"F-fine! Then how about this!?"
He slammed his hands together.
"Hellheim Requiem!"
A vast shadow swallowed the ground beneath me.
From its abyss, countless rotting hands clawed upward—grasping, dragging, pulling me down into the underworld itself.
"The shadows of the dead will drag you to hell!" Ruzzel shouted, sweat dripping from his brow.
I looked down.
Then back at him.
"So what?"
My Right Hand of Divine Magic shimmered with holy light.
The darkness vanished in an instant.
Ruzzel staggered, his breath ragged.
"My magic... doesn't work... at all..."
I stepped forward.
He scrambled backward. "S-stop it!"
Fire. Lightning. Ice.
Magic exploded toward me in a frantic storm.
None of it touched me.
My steps didn't falter.
"Don't come! Don't come, don't come, don't come!"
Panic filled his voice.
I closed the distance.
"You're ready, right?"
"Ugh, nooooooo!"
Ruzzel lunged, his fist blazing with magic.
He struck my face.
"Gaaaaahhh!"
Pain twisted his expression.
His hand throbbed, bones trembling from the impact.
A holy barrier. His attacks couldn't reach me.
"Magic... and even physical attacks... don't work... What kind of monster are you!?"
I clenched my fist.
"No. I'm a Demon Lord."
With my Right Hand of Divine Magic, I delivered a flurry of blows—each one driving deeper, crushing resistance, shattering hope.
The final punch sent him soaring.
Straight into the heavens.
