A few days had passed since I defeated the Undying of the Ten Commandments.
In my room at Demon Lord Castle.

Lying sprawled on the bed, I stared blankly at the ceiling.
Then, from the corner of my vision, 2 little faces peeked in.
"Big Brother! Let's play!""...let's play."
A little girl with white hair and another with blue hair were looking at me.
"Sure, Haku, Sia."
Yes, these two are the daughters of the Divine Beast.
By forming a contract with me, they evolved their existence and learned the art of human transformation.
I was teaching the girls how to make string figures on my lap.
Just then, the door to the room opened, and Cino and Chippy walked in.
"What are you doing, brother?"
"Just playing with Haku and the others."
"Honestly, it's your rest day, so you should take it easy. You're really too kind."
"That's what makes Zeke great. As expected of Zeke!"
Cino and the others came over and sat on the bed.
"I can't usually spend time with them. Here, a bridge."
"Whoa! Amazing!"
Haku and the others' eyes sparkled as they looked at the bridge made of string.
"As expected of big brother, you've always been good with your hands."
"Well, I was the son of a beast veterinarian."

I lay back, sprawled out.
Cino was on my right, and Chippy was on the opposite side.

"We even fought the foolish hero and the stupid king. But Zeke took care of them all!"
"The king and the hero... huh."
In the end, they both fell to darkness, and I defeated them.
With this miraculous right hand that heals people.
"Big Brother... are you regretting something?"
Haku looked at me with a worried expression, peering into my face.
"What's wrong, Haku?"
"You were just daydreaming... a nuisance?"
"No way. I'm having more fun now than when I was in the court."
Back then, I was ridiculed as a beast keeper and a livestock handler.
Alone, I faced the lives of the animals.
But now, I have many comrades who understand me.
There are allies fighting alongside me and citizens I need to protect.
"Right now is the most fun! That's the truth. So don't worry."
I ruffle Haku's head affectionately.
The child probably feels responsible for bringing me here.
"Fun? Then I'm having fun too!"
Cino, Chippy, and all the Divine Beasts are laughing together.
I will create a country where everyone can equally share in laughter.
That is my duty as the Demon Lord.
"I will take down anyone who interferes. With this right hand, to protect everyone."
