There he was. Omega. The Seeker who'd literally wiped the Ryukyu dungeon clean just last week. The guy was a legend. And right now, his face was filling the entire TV screen like it was some breaking news from a dystopian movie.
I blinked.

"...Borrowing your airwaves..."
The words hung there. Felt like they didn't even belong in reality.
Next to me, Ami leaned forward, elbows on her knees, eyes glued to the screen. Calm. Focused. Like this was just another Tuesday.
What? Why are you so calm?!
Huh?
Is my reaction weird?
'Well, the other day I cleared the Ryukyu dungeon, but during that time, a Talking Monster appeared. It was a female Talking Monster with a serpent's lower body, who called herself 'Magdala' of the "Four Pillars." If you watched the video, you probably know, but it seemed to be a high-ranking member among the Talking Monsters.'
Omega kept his cool, voice steady like he was reading weather updates.
But I had watched that stream. Everyone had. The comment section nearly exploded when Magdala showed up. Not every day you see a snake-woman casually drop lore bombs between trying to murder the camera guy.
'And the existence of this 'Magdala' of the 'Four Pillars' tells us a lot. It means that the Talking Monsters are organized. And if "Four Pillars" literally means what it sounds like, then there are at least 3 other high-ranking members like Magdala who rule over Talking Monsters...'
""OH, THAT'S RIGHT!""
We both yelled it at the exact same time.
The echo bounced off the walls.
I glanced at Ami. She was already looking at me.
She pointed two fingers at her temple. "Twin Sympathy."
I groaned. "What do you mean by that?"
But... she wasn't wrong.
I gave her a nod. "Yeah. You're right."
Omega's story kept rolling, unstoppable.

She took a sip. Casual. Like we weren't watching a world-famous Seeker predict the apocalypse on live TV.
I sighed. She was my little sister, but in stuff like this, I might as well hand her the big brother badge.
"I see," I said, leaning back. "Watching the stream would give you that much, huh."
I gave up. Smart wins today. Turning my attention back to Omega was the least I could do.
'So, the story is that, in the near future... the Talking Monsters will begin their invasion from the dungeon to the surface.'
"WHAT?!"
Both of us.
Again.
In perfect stereo.
'It could happen soon, or it might be further down the line. However... it is certain that it will happen.'

Even Ami stayed quiet at that one.
