Volume 2 Chapter 84 Omega-sama, the Strong Style That Incites the World (I)
It happened suddenly...
"Ah... um... hi, it's Omega~"
Out of nowhere, my routine was thrown completely off-track... and the world suddenly started revolving around Omega.

My name is Yuki Ami.
I'm Takeru-nii's younger sister, but I'm the older twin. I know, it's a bit confusing, right?
Anyway, just like any other day, I changed into my sports gear as soon as I got home from school and went out for my daily 10km run.
About an hour later, after returning home, I dove into my next routine: an hour of strength training.
By the way, I've been doing these two things since I started middle school, so now I'm in my fourth year of it (pretty impressive, huh?).
You might think I'm in some sports club, but nope. Not even close.
So, why do I "stick to such intense training every day"? Well, it's because I have a dream I'm working toward.
That dream is to become a 'Seeker.' But there's also another reason for all this training: convincing my parents.
To become a Seeker, especially a dungeon-exploring one, a teenage girl really needs her parents' permission. So, I've been subtly showing off my "daily training" to convince Mom... all so I can become a Seeker.
And there's more.
Thanks to this training, I've been undefeated in sports competitions since middle school. That streak continues in high school too.
As a result, I've had '5s' in physical education from middle school up to now (yep, that's impressive).
With my regular 10km runs, strength training, and my grades, I'm pretty sure I can convince Mom.
Plus, even Takeru-nii, who never cared much about sports, became a Seeker. If he can do it, surely Mom will let me too... right? She has to.

After finishing my workout, I headed straight to the bathroom to cool down, like always.
After a refreshing shower, I soaked in the bath. The water was the perfect temperature, and it helped relax my tired body while calming my mind. I couldn't help but sigh in contentment.
In that relaxed state, I muttered,
"Well, guess it's just a matter of time before I tell Mom, huh..."
It was almost like a daily ritual at this point.
See, I've always admired high school Seekers, and I've been training since middle school with that goal in mind. The time is ripe.
And with Takeru-nii already being a 'high school Seeker,' there's really no reason to hesitate anymore... but honestly, I'm paralyzed with the fear that I won't be able to convince Mom.
"Why can't I gather the courage when it matters most... If I tell Mom I want to be a Seeker, she'll never agree..."
Even after all this effort, I still chicken out.
I hate how spineless I am.

"Mom, where's Takeru?"
After getting out of the bath, I noticed Takeru-nii, who's usually in the dining room by now, wasn't there, so I asked Mom.
"Takeru's not back yet."
"Hmm..."
It was 6:50 p.m.
Dinner's at 7:00 p.m. in our house, and we always gather in the dining room at that time to set the table. But tonight, only my younger sister Yumi was there.
Well, Takeru's a Seeker now, so he's probably out exploring a dungeon.
He even formed a clan with his classmates recently... the clan name is 'Hero Brigade.'
Yeah, I know, a little over the top.
But among the members is that famous high schooler, the 'Cool Beauty Rie-sama,' who's well-known even in C-class Seeker circles. I knew she was at our school and that she was in the same grade as Takeru-nii, but I never imagined I'd have such a well-known D-streamer as a clan mate!
Lucky!
And so unfair!
I want an introduction too!
...I should ask Takeru-nii to introduce me next time.
And for some reason, I heard that Sagawa-senpai, who used to bully Takeru-nii, is also part of that clan.
I know some friends have said that Sagawa-senpai and Takeru-nii seem to be getting along now, but to me, he's just the guy who did terrible things to Takeru-nii. So yeah, I still can't stand him. That probably won't change anytime soon.
Well, I guess I shouldn't worry about Sagawa-senpai.

It was almost 7 PM, and since it seemed like Takeru-nii wasn't coming home anytime soon, we decided to start dinner without him.
As usual, I grabbed the remote before we ate.
Actually, there's this comedy show I love that airs at 7 PM on Mondays, and everyone in our family enjoys it, so it's kind of a tradition to watch it together.
So, I switched on the TV, expecting my usual show. But today was... different.
"Ahh... Uh, hey there, this is Omega! I have an important announcement to make, so I'm taking over the airwaves for about ten minutes──thanks for your understanding!"
The screen flickered, and there was Omega, the famous Seeker who recently conquered the 'Ryukyu Dungeon' and is basically a legend in the Seeker community!
